Poor bastard. Done in by an electric guitar with a faulty ground.

Love, love, love the Yardbirds. Thanks, subby!

I was wondering if this was going to be Beck or Page - even though I prefer Beck, that's a great performance by a young Page. Even the spectacle of White People Dancing didn't distract from the great sound recording, too.

He used to make farting noises on the microphone, live.

Though I've seen the clip of them doing an early version of Dazed and Confused with Page playing with a bow, I was surprised to see him using it again here on this song too.

Keith Relf was great. It's hard to connect him as the same guy singing the lovely Silver Tightrope when he was in Armageddon, though.

Here you go, OldManDownDRoad: best thing I've come across so far with Beck in the band, them doing Train Kept A-Rollin' live. If I find anything better, I'll post it later.

I just saw Blow-Up so I'm getting a real kick out of these replies.

Damn, this has got to be rare! Audio only (poor at that, but still!), Yardbirds (w/Page) playing Waitin' For My Man in '68.

And here's another live one with Beck: Shapes of Things

He's just like putty, putty in your hands. Ah hah!

DrBenway wins at the Intranets. Thanks, my man.

How do you shoot a Yardbirds performance and give the singer and the drummer 50x more face time than the guitarist? That is messed up. Freakin' Germans.

Armageddon, one of the great lost bands.

DrBenway, you are my hero. Years ago, I had that entire concert on a vinyl bootleg. It mysteriously disappeared. So would the person who took it, if I knew who it was.

God bless you Benway!

Armageddon link is sweet.
