shiat is going down!

I wake up and like a billion things have happened.

FitzShivering 2008-03-21 12:40:12 PM
I can't believe that happened.

Bill Frist 2008-03-21 12:43:02 PM
Wow! It was actually TWO news anchors.

LarsThorwald [TotalFark] 2008-03-21 12:43:48 PM
And Chris Wallace wonders why Obama is smart enough not to go on Fox News for a Sunday Morning gotcha fest.

I hope Steve Doocy is reading this, or someone that works for Steve Doocy. Because I want Doocy to know that he is the biggest simpleton douchebag on TV, bar none, and if I ever see him in person, I am going to throw my drink in his face. Metaphorically.

don't forget the other wonderful folks at fox news, billo and sean hannity.

quality programming to be sure.

honestly, when it's gotten so bad that the people who work for fox news can't even stand the stupidity of fox news, it's time to just pull the plug.

Man, having Chris Wallace condemn you for bashing a Democrat is like Yao Ming getting stuffed at the post by Gary Coleman.

And do the anchors apologize to the viewers? Cut to commercial? Look even a little repentant for blatantly insulting their coworker? No they continue to bash him after he leaves.

The chick is a piece of plasticy, sand-blasted work that's been dipped in teriyaki glaze and had any sense of decency cooked out of her.

burndtdan: don't forget the other wonderful folks at fox news, billo and sean hannity.

To be fair, last night I turned on Orly for my once a year check to see if he's still a dickbag, and he was defending Obama. Then he called Special Guest Fox Correspondent Karl Rove to talk about what Obama should be doing differently, and I laughed and changed the channel.

Sean Hannity is 100% sleaze though. 12 hours after the finest political speech in a generation and he was laying the groundwork for the same dogshiat-eating talking points that all the "Libertarian-Lite" folks came in repeating endlessly. I'm sure it was just coincidence that all those "free-thinkers" happened to be free-thinking the same group-think myopic slimeball thoughts as all the rest.

it's good to know there are others who share my utter contempt for him.

Brian Kilmeade has a soul? I always had him and Doocy tied as equal asshats, but maybe I should cut Bri some slack.

I finally got around to watching the Obama speech this morning. If you watch that speech and you take from it "Obama said all white people are racist", you are without a doubt a complete and utter moran.

Does anyone still think this is valid for anything but entertainment?

In the same way that Professional Wrestling is "sports entertainment", Fox is "news entertainment". It emulates the real thing, and some of the finer skills of the real thing make the fake thing more interesting, but it is still fake.

This isn't about really debating or reporting an issue. It is about the illogical passions of the people who get caught up in either. The same mentality that brought us the Iron Sheik and numerous other wrestling villains is the kind that could watch this type of show for more than a few minutes without either becoming bored or frustrated.

I woke up when the wife turned on the TV this morning, and this was the first thing I remember seeing. I figured it was a stupid joke of some sort - it's a morning show on Fox News, they do stupid shiat all the time.
They were serious?

Dude... that's just... dude...

FlashHarry [TotalFark] 2008-03-21 04:16:26 PM
amazing.

just out of curiosity, when mccain repeatedly confused sunni and shia extremists the other day, claiming that shi'ite iran was aiding sunni al qaida, did the fox & friends gang spend two days hammering him? after all, mccain is running on his foreign policy/military credentials, right?

Maybe not so much as you think. Warrior (now the legal name of the dude who played the wrestler-character "The Ultimate Warrior") is a known arch-conservative wingnut. The differences between Warrior and Hannity aren't major.

Oh, and I should be clearer: Warrior is now this man's FULL legal name. Not "Warrior Hellwig" or "Brian James Warrior." Just Warrior.

Against the fruit? No. Oranges are good.

Now, in regards to people (especially women) who look orange because they can't do something as simple as tanning properly, my feeling on the matter can be better described as...

Sad fact remains there are millions and millions of people in the UNited States who are pretty suspicious of other Americans of different shades of skin.

Fox News is a business that happens to exploit that situation. If Fox News morning show didn't do it, another "news" service, the Enquirer, the Weekly World News, KQRS Morning Show with Tom and Terri, or whoever would be increasing market share stirring the pot and yellowing the pages specifically for this big group of suspicious people to sell advertising.

I though he was a Uniter™, not a divider?

After years of watching Chris Wallace's asshattery. . and the recent "Obama Watch" stunt. . . I'm almost impressed with the fact he called "Faux Freinds" out. But not really, as FOX is little more than a propaganda outlet for the GOP -- I still think it might be staged for right wing ratings for all I know.

Ignoring the offensiveness of phrases is a sign of ignorance.

Works the same in all directions unless you're a bigot.
