Old news.

They did this when Obama and Clinton had the Austin, Texas debate and they edited out the boos after she made that "Xerox" comment.

This will not be the last one either.

Thanks for labeling it as a Kos link, smitty.
It saves me the time I'd have wasted clicking on it.

it's in the media's interest to have a close race. No matter who wins.

Come on.... don't you want to see a liberal website tear up part of the "liberal" media?

No, because that would be intellectually honest.

I noticed this. It was pretty glaring.

Wei Kai Xuan: This will not be the last one either.

The sad truth. If voting changed anything, it'd be illegal.

Okay, let's assume for a moment that the media was, in fact, liberal biased;

Then why didn't the Democrats win the last two elections?

That fact alone forces us to reach one of two conclusions;

1. The media is, in fact, NOT liberal biased
Or
2. The media in ineffectual in influencing elections

Either way, quit yer belly-achin' about the "big, bad liberal media"!

Oddly enough, McCain is actually right:

http://www.infowars.net/articles/april2007/240407Iran_False_Flag.htm

Further, the media has been proven time and again to have a very liberal bias. However, the general public is smart enough to know it and the media's credibility suffers for it. That's why the Dems haven't won.

No, what he stated was factually totally false. Which is why he backed down when called on it. Facts are funny things.

Did you even bother to read those links, or did you just cut and paste them from a freep thread?

Here is just a snippet from one of them-

"Just as there was no connection or affiliation between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda, despite the continued preposterous claim that there was by Dick Cheney, there is no connection between the regime of President Mah-moud Ahmadinejad and Al Qaeda. In fact it is even more unlikely there ever would be an affiliation as the reigning leaders in Iran are Shi'ite where as Al Qaeda is a Sunni group.

Indeed, Al Qaeda affiliated right wing terror groups in Iran are very much against the Ahmadinejad government and are routinely carrying out attacks aimed at Iranian soldiers and state figures. "

Could CNN blow McCain harder? Tune in and find out.

Hmmm. I always find it funny when people only see what they would like to see and then point the fingers at others...

Currently Iran is playing "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". Oddly enough we have folks who would rather blame our own leaders than face reality.

Good luck to you all

Jeff_from_MD 2008-03-20 09:03:25 PM
is Strangedays trying to rehash the spate of news articles promulgated by the White House last spring, which were all found to be spurious and rescinded?

That's reminds me of when they kept citing Bill CLinton's February 1998 warnings of Iraq WMDs, right before Clinton actually finished off Iraq's WMDs the month after.

It's like neocons think everyone has a short term memory like they do.
