Most independent shops aren't the size of a Virgin store or whatever you find in the mall. 400 people is quite a large amount given the possible size of the venue.

I have not been to a record store in years, and here is another reason not to go.

My local record store got busted selling bootlegs 10 years ago, and shut down. Sorry RIAA, I tried to support them like you asked.

I still love going to record stores. Looking on the shelves you can find some real gems that you weren't expecting to find. Building my music collection is something in which I still take great satisfaction. BTW...Megadeth is currently better than Metallica, but these guys own both of them:
