Ah... but now he leaves the very same opening he did about his policies:

If he's not saying them publicly in every speech, they don't exist.

Obviously needs to spend the next couple of rallies reading from legal documents... otherwise people will never, ever find them

The fact that they put the documents around the land purchase, house construction, and even fence construction on their own freaking web site is pretty good proof that, against all conventional wisdom and running counter to everything I know as a political wonk, Barack Obama is actually walking the walk regarding transparency.

He's brilliant. He knows Hillary would NEVER go for full disclosure. Now the ball is in her court and she either opens the books, or gets stuck looking like a guilty scumbag. either way, she's stuck.

I'm encouraged by Obama, and utterly depressed that his tactic of "addressing allegations and showing the truth" is considered novel and unconventional in politics.

You're assuming the press is going to do their job instead of quaking in fear of the Clinton machine. . .which makes me wonder why they're so afraid of the Clintons NOW and yet were so happy to trumpet every single Republican talking point about them in the 90's.

He may be brilliant (and I think he is), but none of it matters because the media ignores it. Hillary just sends out a drone to make a racist comment and everything is completely away from transparency. The media is a like a bunch of 7 years old. They report every new story like its the most important of the campaign yet, and never stick with it more than 3 days.

For god sakes, its the same reason KO has to have the Bushed segment on his show. Media is horrific at followup.

It's amazing how rapidly the mainstream media (ugh, I hate using wingnut terms) cowered after giving Obama a few weeks of not-horrible attention. Yeah, they've been really soft on Obama. It's not like, months ago, they were spreading the whole "Is he a secret Muslim terrorist?" thing all over?

True, it isn't like Clinton isn't offering us the same thing Republicans have been offering for 30 years. I, for one, welcome our corporate overlords.

The media isn't scared, and you can't really blame the lot of them for wanting a sequel. A Clinton return is just easier, for the same reasons SNL and talk radio love the idea of a Clinton return. Obama's "change" has reprecussions, people will be forced to come up with new bits.

Oh I don't think anyone in the press is afraid of Hillary. In fact, I suspect that quite a few old washington reporter types are enjoying watching Hillary slowly go mad as she loses this race. And the younger crowd ain't falling for the bullshiat.

Aside from radical feminists (who are clearly deranged) and some folks who bought into the clinton pyramid scheme, most of the democrats seem to favor Obama. It's the uneducated and foolish who keep voting for her.

I think that Obama meant was that he barely knew about Rezko's dealings. What Clinton was hammering at was that he was involved with a "slum lord" case. Which he (and his law firm) did work for.
