Gee... Good thing we didn't give him $10 billion in military aid. That might come back and bit us on the arse some day.

If the Party could thrust its hand into the past and say this or that even, it never happened-that, surely, was more terrifying than mere torture and death.

If that's the depth of insight we can expect from the Bush administration, then we are fully and truly farked.

But we knew this already.

$10 billion? Is that all? That's a relief. These days ten billion U.S. will buy you a couple of WWI era Belgian M-1s and a canteen with a hole in it.

Reminds me of an old math teacher I had that was prone to mistakes. He'd have an entire blackboard of formulas, see a big error, erase the entire board, say "No no no, forget all dees!" Then writing something new and saying, "Let look at dees!"

I seem to remember a certain congressman that was very outspoken about Musharraf being a military dictator during the Republican debates. Trouble is, it appears I have forgotten his name.

It's not like that's hard. America has the collective attention span of a gerbil on meth.

It is a democratic government. Musharraf is not going to be re-elected when his term is up. It is time to start building a relationship with the new government. Why is this so odd?
