To save people time... yes Clinton and McCain have links to Abramoff's lobbying firm.

To make this more fun, the firm has been fined for laundering campaign donations from foreign parties.

If the news reports this, it means they're in the tank for Obama. Truth and reality have no bearing on what's "fair."

I really, really hope Obama's people find some way to smoothly pick this up. But from the media's and Clinton's perspective, even mentioning it means Obama is engaging in dirty politics. Shame on him.

I guess it depends on which definition of fair you're going by. I say technically you're right, but by the euphemistic garbage definition most news organizations go by the whole thing is a big ole crock of shiat. I believe our very own Drew Curtis called it "Equal Time For Nutjobs" in his book. Fair does not equate to giving airtime to a bunch of sociopathic liars.

I'd be surprised if this hits the news big time. Not because of any pandering to HRC, but there's tons of this stuff and it's never reported. I blame the American people for this, because if this sort of scandal got huge ratings, it would be all over everything.

The people have already voted. Sex, American Idol, and Britney constitute our only interests. Political financing? Not so much.

This is something linked at the Daily Kos?
Yeah, I'll be taking it with a HUGE grain of salt for now.

As much as I would love to cackle in glee at evidence of further Hillary shenanigans... Even if they aren't the primary source, they're all too eager to pass along shady info over there. Remeber the story last year they were floating based on a conversation that someone had told them that they knew someone who had supposedly overheard it at a coffee shop?

Daily Kos is about as trustworthy as an ex-BF with a grudge and a memory card full of nude photos.

You guys, you're completely missing out on the important question here, which is:

Did Abramoff ever give Obama advice concerning personal residential real estate purchases? That's what the country truly wants to know.

The sad thing is that should this get national coverage, the Clinton campaign will try to spin it back at Obama, and attempt to make him prove that he doesn't have any connections to Abramoff.

Yup. Too dry. Too complicated.

Also, I'm not even what is there.

The main question seems to be "Why would a GOP lobbying firm give money to Clinton?"

My answer: In case she wins.

Let's see her bring up Rezko again...

You'd think a land deal to expand a guy's yard would not get as much scrunity from the people who were investigated for the Whitewater deal. But then you'd be underestimating that HRC is entitled to the presidency, since it's her turn.

HRC: "ZOMG what's with the negative attacks?!?!?! Why is my coverage so biased!?!?@#@!#?!@#21#??!

The Clinton campaign is funded DIRECTLY by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and a hole host of other sundry foreign interests. Sorry, Hillary, your husband can wander around overseas and collect millions of dollars. You can even file joint tax returns. However, if you use this big pile of cash to lend your campaign for president money (with interest), you are planning to be a president that represents foreign countries and NOT American interests. Don't think your husband's blatant corruption doesn't reflect on you.

I thought her relationships with all of these countries were a positive and somehow proved that Obama could not be Commander in Cheif. I am curious why she is afraid to make all of this public. It should only help her. Right?

TFA: "Abramoff's firm... is now a major donor to HRC's presidential campaign... In a odd coincidence, GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain chaired the Senate Committee which investigated Abramoff."

I like that. Analogy: this criminal murdered a woman, this cop investigated the woman's murder, therefore they're both "linked to violent crime".

Mine might include "Plenty of cash to go around! We're giving it away!"

You're right, though. The "why" is a good question. Near as I can figure, it's because Hillary would accept it.
