Just so long as we don't let our cops do to illegal immigrants what Mexican cops do to theirs. I'm all for the same laws, but not the inhumane treatment.

I have heard more than one person comment that Mexico uses illegal immigration as a safety valve.

The fear is if these people stayed in Mexico, their numbers would grow to the point that they might overthrow the current powerbase in Mexico.

They are probably right.
