I have to agree though. I have always sai that these companies should have stopped trying to stop new technology. The only company to realistically and passionately embrace digital music is Apple and look how badly that turned out for them - streets ahead of anyone else.

meanwhile Trent Reznor (new window) is letting you download his new album almost free. he even got 2500 fans to shell out $300 for the super deluxe version. do the math. almost all of the money goes to him and probably the maintenance guy for his studio.

/fark studio techs
//mine increased his rate to $850/day

People will pay for music... people won't pay MUSIC COMPANIES for music, though. Way to go... the music industry is dead, long live the music industry.

Sousaphone? Shiat. I guess those hours I spent on the oboe were wasted.

Yah, this was a repeat, but I'd have to agree. The music execs really f'ed themselves.

Unnecessary repeat. Padding of green light stats. 10 yard penalty.

Nonsense and tomfoolery! The saw is coming back in a big way. I can't wait for all of the high-pitched whining noises to pour out over the radio waves.

/now that I think about it, nothing new there
