Oh, and Sage Francis, while a fairly talented, intelligent cat isn't really a part of the Hip Hop community. He's more of a left wing ideologue slam poet than a rapper. The vast majority of Hip Hop fans are turned off by his whining and preaching. He and his rhymes have some merit, but culturally speaking, he has more in common with Pacific Northwest neo-hippies than with Hip Hop.
