Except we haven't been rickrolled. The link opens up a page with the video imbedded on it, and you can see that it's a rickroll, and then you don't click on play.

FAIL.

Wow, a greenlit RickRoll. I'm sure my next submission of cats with hilarious captions featuring poor English grammar will be instantly greenlit, too!

Well, yeah, but I at least thought we were going to get a decent version of Elvis doing it here. An attempted Rickroll? That's weaker than a toilet full of pissed-out Coors Light.

Anyway, here's the King:

1956

1968 (medley w/Hound Dog & All Shook Up)

and just for you, T_U_E, here's another spooky Cale version with Richard Thompson and Shawn Colvin.

I'll take a Rick Roll over an Elvis any time.

Hmmm... that right there... that's, uh, wrong. Yeah... "wrong" -- definitely the word I was looking for.

I went out to lunch with my research professor the other day. As I went to the soda dispenser to get my drinks, I heard a familiar sound on the radio playing on the speakers.

CiCi's had just Rick Rolled me.

/Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has left the planet.

I came in here to post about how overrated Elvis was without even watching the vid but instead I find out that the video isn't even Elvis, but a Rick roll.

Wouldn't I have looked stupid.

Give him a break, hes in canada. Canada sucks

I never "got" the Elvis appeal. There were plenty of musicians doing the same thing he did, only earlier and better. The only way I can comprehend his popularity (although I really hate to play this card) is that Elvis, despite the naughty hips and all, was white, and therefore seemed safer to consumers. I understand that he was the inspiration for a generation of rock 'n' rollers, but we should be celebrating them, not their influence who just so happened to have a more accessible sound and race.

In other news, a greenlit Rickroll? For serious? When I want that shiat I'll go to 4chan.

Anybody that posts a 'Rick-Roll' on Fark should forever be BANNINATED!!!

Starting now...

Elvis enjoyed and continues to enjoy massive respect from singers both male and female.

Prissy white hipster douchebags whine that he never wrote a song and then gush over Billie Holiday who wrote like one.

/love both of them
//not Elvis's fault he was white...so were a lot of other people who went nowhere trying to cop the blues.

You suck, smitty.

A joke isn't funny when you beat it to death.
