I used to live right by a gun shop- "Butch's Guns", classy name eh? Was actually a bit sad when I moved away. That was to be my first stop for when the zombies come. After that? The san juan islands if I can get to the harbor. If not... well you can always destroy your staircase and pull the ladder up after you. Just make sure you destroy your staircase from the bottom up, not the other way 'round.

That's assuming one shot, one kill. I know zombies move slowly, but it's an awful lot of confidence to put in your marksmanship. The stress of a zombie apocalypse could make almost anyone jittery; shouldn't you stock up a bit more and stay on the safe side?

The small K-Mart within running distance used to be loaded with hunting supplies, and had only two entry points not made of cinder block or steel that'd need to be blocked.

I don't think they have a single shotgun anymore. Only weapons I remember seeing are small crossbows, paintball guns, and black-powder. Though they may still sell shells... I don't go there much. It's still better than nothing. Secureable location, a nice supply of small rifle rounds, good visibility of the surrounding area, and enough Cheetos to last at least three months.

It's going to be a little odd picking off undead in the parking lot with a stack of black-powder rifles, but it'll have to do.

August 8th. Isn't that when the Olympics start?

Well, I *had* a plan when in college.. a pretty good one, that would allow most of the campus to survive until help could arrive.
However, now that I've moved on to graduate school, my surroundings have changed, and there are.. fewer weapons within a short distance.

/No more close gunshops and National Guard Armory 2 miles up the street.
//No more really, really good College Rifle team, either.
