I saw a Geico (I think) commercial the other day advertising motorcycle insurance. It's the one with the ninja. I swear the neighbor plugging Geico looked just like the BTK in your post. He had the same kind of demeanor/attitude. Creepy.

That's not BTK, that's Richard Crumlinsky or something like that. He claimed to be America's most prolific killer--mob hit man and psychopathic serial killer.

wowzer97pooh 2008-03-08 11:15:11 PM
Richard Kuklinski. The ice man. He used to put his victims on ice for months then dump the body.

Doctor: Do you mean to tell me you didn't realize this man was dead?

Basil Fawlty: Well, people don't talk that much in the morning! Look, I'm just delivering a tray, right? If the guest isn't singing, "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning", I don't immediately think, "Oh, there's another one snuffed it in the night, another name in the Fawlty Towers Book of Rememberance!" I mean, this is a hotel, not a Burma railway!

Sybil Fawlty: Basil!

Basil: Well, I mean, it does actually say "hotel" outside! I mean, perhaps I should be more specific: "Hotel for people who have a better than 50% chance of making it through the night!"

Those prices in a mini-bar make it scary to touch anything.

$5 for a bottle of H20.
$7 for M&Ms

What a joke.

If they were just a regular rip-off and not a total ass-tearing, mom-raping pathetic money grab, I'd actually use the mini-bar.

Drinking ink-jet printer ink refill is cheaper, FCS!

If the prices were a bit lower people might actually buy the minibar crap and the hotel would make more money off of it.

$2 shots would be pretty nice too.

Guess its optimal supply/demand thing...thought Laffer curve at first but know thats not it....

I'm not interested in all the details of what and how these guys did what they did. But what fascinates me is things like the killer of the mother and daughters in a northern California motel who said he had these thought of murdering people all of his life, since he was a little kid. It makes me wonder where it all comes from.

My mistake. I saw the Iceman's interview recently too. There is a resemblence but the Geico guy looked more like BTK.

All there is on cable is either ghost sightings, ufo sightings, or serial killer interviews. That's the reason why I recognized Kuklinski. An hour long interview was shown on cable recently.

"First responders"

That phrase makes me want to torture a bureaucrat, and see if he calls out for a "first responder" or a "paramedic."

"First responders" were either the unfortunate maid who unlocked the door and sat there for fifteen minutes trying to decide whether to report the body and risk being deported when the cops ran her ID, or not report the body and risk being arrested when the next guest found the body later; or the security guard who had to verify the maid's claim of a body in the room and immediately compromised the scene by puking all over the body and the carpet and running down the hall with blood on his shoes.

Happens all the time at hotels that don't hire EMTs.

Yes, police believe that the poor women committed suicide by throwing herself backwards into a large plastic container full of dry ice. So sad.

I doubt they mean it has been established as not homicide, They probably mean theres no OBVIOUS signs of it being murder like a gunshot wound, that can be seen without an autopsy.
