The author makes a good point: some people are dumb.

I'm glad he wrote an article to highlight this important and groundbreaking revelation.

How about an 'ironic' tag considering the source? In a mere three weeks, they've gone from chanting in unison how McCain is an evil liberal to being his biggest Kool-Aid drinkers this side of Fark's "libertarians."

Have you seen some of the horseshiat coming out of Clinton's supporters, like how if you don't vote for her, you think women should just be barefoot and pregnant all the time?

It's a sad statement on the pathetic state of our political culture that when a candidate comes up that people do feel passionately about, they get trashed as "cultists."

This. Obama said it best in his speech after NC (I think) when he said one of the biggest fights we are engaged is is the fight against our own cynicism. Excitement about politics, about honesty, and about transparency is not anything to be ashamed of, and people like Clinton and the right-wing nut jobs are trying to minimize a movement for a change towards honesty and intelligence as a cult. It's pathetic.

More true genius:

"We should be sure Oreilly, Rush and Hannity have Michelle Obama's latest commentary. As well as Lou Dobbs.

The patriotism issue needs to be explored more as well. That photo of him refusing to pledge is what it is."

That's some Grade A stupidity right there.

What's there to understand? You think of a normal person, and take away reason and accountability.

sometimes, you drive past an accident and your like... psschooo... only a brainless actor can help them. and that's what they want to do... so when they see an SP (sane person), they have to know that only they can help

I agree, NRO. When people get excited about the possibility of an honest, transparent government lead by an intelligent, honest man, that freaks me right the hell out.

I feel much better when people bitterly but passively accept the prospect of the government continuing to piss on the Constitution and fark over average citizens for the next decade. I'm used to that, so that makes it right.

Oddly enough, I think it's more embarrassing to find out that you wrote an NRO article than knowing your mom works the streets.

Oh these meme creating nutters. Have to find something to biatch about, don't they?

Lessee, support for a candidate could be called cult like! Yeah lets see if that kind of idiocy gets any traction.
