I cam here to say that. The Nerves recroded the original, written by Jack Lee. The other guys in the band were Peter Case, who went on to found The Plimsouls, and Paul Collins, who went on to found the Paul Collins Beat.

Pretty great collection of power pop talent there.

I still love Blondie!
