I one time took a metal spoon and modified it to be the first ever metal spork.

Sporks are definately my favorite utensil of all time. I used to have 2 metal sporks, but my ex kept them when I moved out. I think it might be just about time to replace them.

my husband used to embarrass the heck out of me any time we'd go someplace like Tiffany's. The sales person would ask if they could help him find something. He'd answer "Why yes! I was hoping you could show me your line of sterling silver sporks..." I got so tired of it I finally had one made for him, with a 1 carat sapphire inset into the handle. I had one made for my son when he became 18. They are now proud members of the spork club. It has specific rules, such as, no one can buy one's own spork, it must be presented to one. One washes by hand one's own spork, never dishwashed!
