ugh

Look kids, she's hip! She also likes that rock music you young hipsters are listening to these days.

Seriously, does anyone watch SNL anymore?

Lenny and Carl 2008-03-01 10:32:16 PM
FTFA:
(She is appearing on Comedy Central last week).

That's the kind of grammar that makes my testicles retreat into my body.

Donald_McRonald 2008-03-01 10:33:23 PM
Meh, I'll just watch the inevitable Youtube.

Beave0101 2008-03-01 10:34:01 PM
kitchen sink much?

I Said [TotalFark] 2008-03-01 10:34:13 PM
This is what a candidate does when they feel they have no shot at winning. It's a desperation move.

Honestly, how many candidates have done this while running? Al Sharpton and who else?

Also, anyone care to bet how many skits there'll be about Obama getting unfair treatment?

PC LOAD LETTER [TotalFark] 2008-03-01 10:35:38 PM
Don't they need to have Obama on as well? I am pretty sure it's illegal for any media outlet not to give fair time to both regardless of what the program is.

DamnYankees [TotalFark] 2008-03-01 10:36:32 PM
She's hanging her hat on the one thing she has left.

Also, isn't the main SNL audience people under 25? You know, those people who either don't vote or are overwhelmingly Obama fans?

Reactron [TotalFark] 2008-03-01 10:36:35 PM
NewportBarGuy: Wow, this could quite possibly be the most boring show ever.

Do not taunt Happy Fun biatch.

DamnYankees [TotalFark] 2008-03-01 10:38:53 PM
The problem with Hillary doing SNL is that she is completely unable to make fun of herself. I can't possible see her being self deprecating in any real way. Maybe she'll make fun of her clothing or something, but she won't make fun of herself in a sincere way.

Obama, though, is pretty easy to imagine. I can see him doing an SNL skit where he uses flowery oratory to promise ridiculous things, and allows SNL to put a CGI halo around him. He's actually, you know, human.

This post is made of 95% win, 5% unknown glowing green substance which fell to Earth, presumably from outer space.

Oh, no - I'm sure it will be filled with self-deprecating humor on Hillary's part, because, you know, she doesn't really think she's the most important human ever born.

Huck did it two weeks ago

Actually, Hw Who Must Not be Middle-Named has already been on SNL.

I'm sure that episode of SNL will be a classic!

TheQuest35 2008-03-01 10:43:25 PM
huh, I thought it was more traditional for the 2 canidates to be on SNL after they have secured the nomination. Meh someone at SNL must be really backing clinton over Obama. I dub the epidose Clintfail.

also what in FARKS name is the "hero" tag doing there?

Theory proved.

Huckabee was actually pretty funny, though, because he made fun of himself, in a real way. All the money in my pockets says Hillary doesn't do that.

Yeah, and Huck's campaign is doing soooo well right now.

ClemsonChili 2008-03-01 10:44:39 PM
Well last week between the CNN skit and Fey's "biatch is the New Black" monologue they were going pretty hard for Clinton (relatively speaking of course) so it's not surprising they're going to give her a couple lines tonight.

The Bestest 2008-03-01 10:44:53 PM
..oh, and Nader did it in 2004

also, the equal time rule only applies if the opponent requests it, I think

No, but Obama was on the last show before the writer's strike.

Don't you think that if the tables were turned, and Obama was going on and not Hillary at this stage in the game, she's be crying and whining and there would be great gnashing of teeth?

I'm still laughing at "Happy Fun biatch"

I'd make a video, but I couldn't do the idea justice.

Well, she's gotta go kiss the asses of the staff that wrote that piece of shiat debate skit last week. You know, be appreciative and whatnot, regardless of its clashing with reality.

Prospero424 [TotalFark] 2008-03-01 11:14:01 PM
Lorne Michaels donated the maximum to both McCain and Dodd. So now he's pimping Hillary just before the crucial primaries.

Hmmmmm...

I bet she wishes Arsenio still had his show.

What if they toast her?

robsul82 [TotalFark] 2008-03-01 11:26:12 PM
Sure hope Wilco has some Obama T-shirts or stickers to put on their guitars or something.

rynthetyn 2008-03-01 11:26:17 PM
Let's see, last week we had the Republican presidential candidate who won't quit even though they have no real way of winning, this week, we get the Democratic presidential candidate who won't quit even though they have no real way of winning.

/Somebody in the Clinton camp wasn't thinking of the parallelism

I'm hoping that after Hillary wins the next to terms in office, her daughter can win the following two-- thereby giving us a monarchy! YAY!

It is a roast....

Deadite 2008-03-01 11:33:21 PM
Look I've been using the internet for a while now I've seen things I can't unsee, I know meanings to words that should never exist in anyone's vocabulary, I've downloaded and watched videos that would turn you white! Why should I see a trainwreck on the scale of the Spears family on live tv?

So with all that said I'll probably end up watching just to see Tina Fey suck off Hillary's dick on live tv, here's hoping Tina goes for the snowball and a reach around just to see Hillary's reaction of being touch in a way that hasn't happened since that time Bill got blinded by bad moonshine and thought he was farking socks the cat.

rynthetyn 2008-03-01 11:33:22 PM
Dang, they've still got Fred Armisen in blackface.

bberg 2008-03-01 11:33:55 PM
Is anybody else watching this?

Isn't SNL supposed to be, you know, funny?

Ground_Hog 2008-03-01 11:34:46 PM
That show needs to be canceled. It hasn't been funny for years now.

bberg: Is anybody else watching this?

It hasn't been funny in years. And I think Hill's going to be pissed by their portrayal of her this week.

rynthetyn 2008-03-01 11:36:06 PM
By the way, is Darryl Hammond the only one on the show who can do a decent impersonation?
