Will they wear uniforms? Because I love a man in a uniform.

Here's the video for Millennium. (Pops)

That video is giving me epilepsy. Can't anyone hold a f*cking camera still once in a while?

That last self titled Killing Joke is beyond astonishing.

Killing Joke is genuine badass.

For you kiddies who are so into Tool and others I highly urge you to go to the source. (not knocking Tool)

The most recent thing they're playing is from '94? Why is it that when a band's new stuff is actually good, they don't want to play it, but when a band's new stuff sucks it's always "Here's another one from our NEW album!" as the audience goes to take a leak.

This.

Also, even the nihilists love Killing Joke.

I once lost a Killing Joke CD (Brighter than a Thousand Suns) in a game of pool.
I thought I could beat the guy and all he wanted was my Killing Joke CD.

I lost.

They are one of the loudest bands I have ever seen. Saw them in Seattle at the Showbox and my ears were nearly bleeding.

They need to get Dave Grohl's sweet ass up there to play drums for them and turn this muthafarka out. Screw all this other crap.

Absolutely love Killing Joke, but Jaz has always looked totally like some used car salesman the band picked up to fill vocal duties 15 minutes before taking the stage. The Millennium video is the only point in their career that he almost looked like the rock god that he is.

The group plans to play two nights in each city when they hit the road in September (08) - the first night they'll play their eponymous 1980 debut followed by its 1981 follow-up What's THIS... For!, while the second night will see the band run through 1994's Pandemonium and their 1979 and 1980 singles.

Oh... friggin'... awesome!

This is brilliant. Fans of their old stuff go one night, fans of their newer stuff got the next night. And fans of it all pay twice and see it all. Everyone wins!

/Now to start saving for the tickets and the followup hearing loss tests...

I think it's the editing that you are referring to, most of the camera work is pretty standard. Plus it's a music video GET OVER IT

I love the KMFDM remix of Democracy. If not for that I would have missed out on the gem that is Killing Joke.

No, because according to TFA, they won't play anything from "Night Time," hence won't play "Eighties."

I'm proud to say I've gotten my 10-year-old son hooked on Killing Joke. He especially likes the version of "Bloodsport" off their XXV live album.

Can I just be really uncool for a moment and say that I absolutely love the Night Time album?

/perfectly captures the time but in a much better way than say, oh, Frankie Goes To Hollywood.

I had that first album on cassette for years and years until it finally broke. Just tracked down a CD of it a couple of months ago. Loved the way they used the synth on that stuff. No cheese, just raw analog sawtooth badassitude. Never saw them life, unfortunately.

Big time. I thought Hosannas and the self-titled disc before it were farking awesome.

If only there was a way to save the music then the later generations could enjoy old music too.

You think it'll be worth The Wait?(new window)

/btw, I believe what HHHO is referring to is the fact that the guitar part on "Come As You Are" by Nirvana is very similar to that of "Eighties".

Jaz Coleman also appears on October File's debut.
Killing Joke + Neurosis= October File.
