I think people are afraid of triggering some sort of "pun cascade" event. I mean, the headline is bad enough.

Fark these guys. Why do we keep messing with them? We look like chumps every time we do. They have given up nothing in 15 years of "negotiations", and the regional powers are quite happy to sit back and let us do all the dirty work. The Chinese and Russians created the monster, the ROKs can't make up their minds what to do, and the Japanese have sat impotent while DPRK military and intelligence units consistently violate their sovereignty and kidnap their citizens.

Get our cannon-fodder/tripwire troops out of there and let the regional powers deal with it. They complain about the U.S. meddling in others affairs; fine, let them take a crack at it. Quietly tell Kim to give us six months to leave, then do whatever the hell he wants, with one caveat: if we trace any nuclear material and/or technology used against us or our allies back to them, we will respond by granting Pyongyang exposure to our nuclear technology free of charge.
