Opposite day attacks, as other farkers have pointed out, are Karl Rove moves. Interestingly enough, just after I noticed her stategy, her campaign put out a press release calling Obama's attacks on her health care plan "Rovian"..

American politics, where it's always opposite day.

I think fark may finally have hit saturation point with the Obama threads. I mean - what else can we say? Its all been said already every day for the last 4 weeks. Even the trolls are getting bored.

So yeah - GObama!

Hillary is running a homeopathic campaign.

The fewer votes she gets the stronger her support-base is. If she only gets one percent of the vote in Texas and Ohio it's indicative of such power that she's sure to go all the way to Pennsylvania Avenue. Diluting just makes it more powerful!

Although having read TFA now I would have to say it does deserve its own link.

LOLZ!

Don't forget you need to dilute and agitate a homeopathic remedy.

Good point. If I could come up with a good visual for your homeopathic analogy I would photoshop it in a heartbeat - any ideas?

Anything I can think of seems a tad obscure - I mean - how many people know how homeopathics are made?

FTFA: Democrats, the majority of whom have favored Hillary in the primary contests held to date, have their doubts about Senator Obama and are having second thoughts about him as a prospective standard-bearer.

This is actually insane. I I I can't even believe this. I'm not even one to pile on in BHO threads...

Wait, because he has ONLY erased a 40% deficit in Ohio and Texas, Obama doesn't deserve the nomination? She really has nothing left.

I love how if he loses even one state on Tuesday it's voters suffering from "buyer's remorse", but Hillary losing eleven straight somehow hasn't even registered as a hint she should give up. Do these people actually listen to themselves when they speak?

Hillary is right. Anything less than unanimity for Obama should be seen as a bitter failure.

In fact, if he doesn't draw virtual votes from alternate dimensions and different points in history, you really have to ask yourself if he can be elected President.

I think that is actually true. If you count MI and FL, and you only count primaries (not caucuses), and you only count registered Democrats, Hillary does have more votes of those people than Obama. She used to, at least. That was before a few of the more recent wins.

I think Obama should have simply replied, in reference to the Clinton campaign: "It's always darkest right before it turns black."

From the memo: Senator Obama has campaigned hard in these states. He has spent time meeting editorial boards, courting endorsers, holding rallies, and - of course - making speeches.

Enough with the big rallies and the speeches!

/because, you know, that's not how we politicians usually do things

Gotta be over by now.

When will it be over?

Okay then, now.

Well it is true. Registered Democrats have voted for her more than him. But that leaves out everyone else who votes, like me. I'm registered, but not with any party. I voted for Obama, but Clinton doesn't count my vote in her total.

Are you black or do you make over $100,000 annually? If so, then your vote for Obama was actually a sign of Clinton's strong support.

Sorry, that's just how it works.

Everyday Hillary's campaign sounds more and more Republican like.

I think this election has screwed up her chances to get elected in the future or to be in many other offices.

She is doing the Bush "I suck so bad, if I tie my shoes in the morning you should call it a win" lowering of the bar for her campaign.

DrMcNinja 2008-02-29 07:49:19 PM
Serious question. Where did that picture of Hillary that she's yelling her head off (the latest incarnation being about looking at the youtube just above) come from? Bad camera moment or not, she's really yelling her head off. Anyone know the context?

DrMcNinja,

I understand that it was taken at some event where an old friend she hadn't seen since college said hi. Hillary was rather surprised, to say the least.

An Aes Sedai never lies, but the truth she tells you isn't the one you think you hear.

"Democrats, the majority of whom have favored Hillary in the primary contests held to date"

Hidden lies:

(1) "Democrats" - Hillary only counts registered Democrats, not independents or crossover Republicans.

(2) "Primary contests" - ignores caucuses

(3) "held to date" - includes Michigan and Florida
