This is the same language he used before and during the last election cycle, when he used this as an excuse to demolish entire neighborhoods and towns, rendering thousands homeless. Because the pressure on the average Zim gets ever higher, I expect that this time around, there may be rioting and protests. If that happens, we could see another genocide unfold.

Mugabe has eradicated dissidents in the past, and would do so again. I also have no confidence in any coalition of opposition groups that may violently overthrow him. This could be very, very bad.

It is very serious...Other native animist belief sets have been manipulated to incite wholesale slaughter (see also Mau Mau movement). This is the same kind of rhetoric that precedes almost all African inter-tribal violence. He is giving permission to the police and his supporters to do whatever they deem necessary to eradicate them. Death to witches in Africa is violent, brutal and sadistic.

Another solution is that the Western powers stop the economic sanctions and allow the government to stabilize. Imagine if I went and took everything the homeless guy down the street has, make sure no one can give him anything, and then denounced him if he went asking others for help. Instead of trying to get rid of him and put in their typical puppet leader, the US should be working on helping the people of that country.

Zimbabwe used to grow a lot of food such that Zimbabwe exported food to other countries.

After Mugabe has got rid of the White farmers, the dirty evil White people stole most of the ability to grow food in Zimbabwe. Now people are starving & the economy is in the shiatter.
