That said, I'm not really sure why anyone biatches about MTV not playing videos anymore. It's nothing new. All the energy spent complaining about that could be spent hunting down and castrating people who watch their current programming. Wednesday night about 11:30 they i saw music videos being played on MTV... couldn't believe so I stopped channel surfing to watch. Bands and music were total shiat shiat shiat and I remembered why I stopped watching mtv about 10 years ago.

In all seriousness, when would MTV play this video? Don't they only play videos during TRL and that's maybe 1 minute of the video?

MC Scat Cat...I loved that little guy. Things kind of dried up for cartoon cats in the music biz after The Stones' "Harlem Shuffle"and "Opposites Attract." It's too bad really.

That song really shows how far Paula Abdul has fallen. The vocals are more over processed than a Brittney Spears track, and the tune is very sing-songey and repetitive.

So how is this a farking story again? She and her producers never submitted the video (due to its acknowledged horribleness), therefore MTV can't air it whether they wanted to or not.

Either the reporter was really scraping the bottom of the news cycle barrel to come up with anything even remotely newsworthy, or MTV is pissed at Paula Abdul for something and essentially released a Clinton-esque non-statement to create an artificial controversy (i.e. "We're calling this press conference to categorically DENY that we released any information that Barack Obama did drugs in his youth..." "Er, nobody has said anything about Barack Obama and drugs." "Right! And it wasn't us who said nothing!")
