From TFA:

"Hillary Clinton's not going anywhere," said Mr. McAuliffe. Hillary's going to one place. She's going to Denver as the Democratic Party nominee." back to the Senate, her head hung in shame for having orchestrated one of the most poorly run campaigns in half a century.

Fixed that for you, Terry.

About a 120 hours from right now all the results will be in, and your candidate will be toast. Enjoy your next few days, just don't try to humiliate yourself to such an extent you hurt Obama's chances in November.

Funk Brothers: Where's Obama been getting the money?

For simplicity's sake, let's say that the most a person can donate during the primary cycle is $2,000. If Obama has received $50,000,000 in donations throughout February, he would need at least 25,000 donors (5,000,000/2,000 = 25,000). Considering that Obama got over 1,000,000 donors in February, I don't find it too sneaky or unlikely that he got $50,000,000 in donations.

I really hope it will be as well. I just think the mood of the party leadershp is such at this point that unless she comes away with some absolutely stunning victory in both Ohio and Texas they'll make her read the writing on the wall.

They'll obviously split Rhode Island and Vermont, and I think she'll win Ohio by about 6-7% at best, but I just can't see how she wins Texas.

Since Super Tuesday, he's done better in basically every contest than the polls indicated he would. Why? Because of the vast number of his voters that aren't "Likely Democratic Voters" because they've either never voted at all, or are either registered Independents or Republicans. There's no reason to think that won't happen again next week.

These Likely Democratic Voters are where she's been pulling in much of what support she has. She's plummeted in every poll that has been conducted in either state over the past month with this group. She needs to be doing a hell of alot better than a split or +/- 4% swing with this group if she hopes to counteract the Independents and Republicans that are going to vote for him.

Even disregarding the polling numbers in Texas which mostly have him ahead now, there seems to be a pretty constant stream of reports out of Texas regarding just how badly disorganized her campaign is there. Donors never receiving calls, reporters having calls and emails to the campaign there go unreturned, press gatherings getting all jacked up, etc. That is not a good sign where you have both early voting and a partial caucus that can be heavily influenced by a well organized ground game.

I'm probably really cynical, but I think Hillary may win the nomination anyway. She'll probably get 65% of the vote in Texas and Ohio and completely kill Obama's momentum. Once she wins Pennsylvania, the superdelegates will all run back to her and she'll win without the need for Michigan and Florida. It's been The Powers That Be(tm)'s plan this entire time to garner ratings and to keep people distracted.

She's received over 60% of the vote in a single state during this entire thing: Arkansas. She couldn't even break that number in New York. There's no way she breaks that number in any state on Tuesday with the possible exception of Rhode Island, which will be negated by Obama's win of the same margin or more in Vermont.

She may likely win Ohio, and could even pull off Texas if she get's really lucky, but there's no way she wins by more than 6-7% in either of them. If that happens, she'll get a net gain of no more than a handful of delegates, which will them be immediately wiped out over the course of the following week by the primaries in Wyoming and Mississippi in which Obama will win big.

Most of the people that I know who are Democrats and are going to vote on Tuesday are voting for Obama. The Hillary supporter is few and far between from my experience. I don't know who they're polling in Ohio.

Polls ARE crap. But New Hampshire was rather unique. There have been many more polls showing Obama winning by a small margin but winning by a much higher one (Wisconsin and Virginia immediately come to mind).

As for her winning big in both Texas and Ohio - no farking way. Worst case scenario - she wins Texas by no more than 5 and wins Ohio by 10.

She'll net less than 50 delegates which won't bring her anywhere close to Obama's delegate total. But will that stop her? No. She'll hold on like a pit bull believing that if she can only get the nomination by any means possible then the entire Democratic Party will rally behind her to stop the GOP from staying in the White House. Her hatred of the GOP is so intense she cannot understand how anyone who is not a Republican would ever vote for McCain, no matter how nasty she is in this campaign, no matter how sleazy or scummy she won the nomination. It's all politics, right? We're used to politicians being total scumbags in their run for office, so no harm, no foul. We'll all get over it by the time the Convention rolls around. Good theory.

But all that is highly unlikely to unravel before our eyes. Chances are good that Obama will win Texas and might squeak through Ohio. And then we can focus on November.
