Should be img1.fark.net.... Moms are one of the demographics most likely to be using using media players that don't involve downloading. If I gave my mother a bunch of John Denver MP3s, she'd not have the foggiest notion of what to do with 'em. Of course hard-copy media sells better to them.

Now, splurge on an 8-track for her, well.....

Rocky Mountain...

[KA-CHUNK!]

Hiiiiiiiiiiiighhhhh

I was going to give Subby a +1, but they failed to mention Dan Fogelberg.

Actually, my mom's a huge Sinatra nut. Even when she was a teenager in the early 60's, she thought the Beatles and their ilk were too loud and obnoxious.

She nearly crapped herself when she heard me playing Black Flag at full volume when I was 16.

So, this Mother's Day, I plan on getting her a 45 of the classic song, "My Way," as interpreted by Sid Vicious.

Sorry, my mom's a Beatles freak. Also The Who, Roy Orbison and The Lovin' Spoonful.
But I'll take those Enya albums for myself...

It's every year. The week before Mothers Day is the best week for business all year, only Christmas is better.

My mom liked Rob Zombie, Garbage, etc.

Seriously. She said being old didn't mean you had to listen to "God Damned Pat Boone" for the rest of her life.

I used to work in a record store. When John Denver died the blue rinse set came out of the wood work and bought his stuff like crazy.

My cousin (or some relation like that) played drums for Jim Croce. He was a session drummer by the name of Gary Chester.

Oh, and I like Enya for when I am sitting in a soapy bath, looking for my G-spot.
