There's people out there who don't know Hitler is synonymous with evil?

Fortunately, my family shortened their last name a couple of centuries ago.

It used to be Falkenstein.

Imagine growing up with that name ;)

"Maybe my parents liked the name. But I am not a dictator," he once told AFP. "My parents did not know who Hitler was."

And they say Americans don't know their history.

Meh, some parts of India are so hard to get to it's not really worth conquering. In these parts you often find people who idealize cultures that most other parts of the country hate. You can still probably find parts of India where people think rule by the British was a good thing. The Nazis did have some influence in India before WWII, this is probably one of those remnants.

There are 16 people in the United States with the last name Hitler according to whitepages.com. One of them is even vice president of an insurance company.

Compared to this, Kaylee and Shaniqua don't sound so bad...

I could make the joke, but then I'd be ashamed of myself.

Why, oh why, can't this be a movie, instead of real life?

I would wait in line in the rain for two weeks to see Hitler vs. Frankenstein.
