Good answer? Yep.

Looking forward to the debate on Tues.

There was a brief moment towards the end of the debate on Tuesday that, for just one fleeting moment, I thought that Hillary might find it in herself to bow out gracefully and help make sure that the party is unified going into the convention in August.

I realize now just how foolish that line of thought was.

No. There is nothing that is "pro" about supporting Hillary at this point.

JohnnyC 2008-02-23 11:07:52 PM
I thought it was particularly telling when Hillary made such a fuss over using your own words, and then at the end of the debate she sat there reiterating almost exactly the words of John Edwards.

Obama handled her attacks like he always does, with wisdom, honesty, and a straightforward and clear answer.

Thing is... Hillary is showing her true colors... as a spoiled biatch who doesn't like being held responsible for her own choices.

See, this is what I love about this campaign. Are the democrats tearing each other apart? Yes. Is the convention going to be bloody and brutal? Almost certainly. But the level of interest in politics has /never/ been higher in this country as it is now. I was stuck in MIA airport on Thursday night and what did the restaurant have on their tvs? Not the standard sports channel but the democratic debate. As we sat there watching a crowd joined us. Two different people asked a waiter to turn up the volume. It's inspiring.

Reality has a well known Obama bias.

Seriously though, Obama has won 11 contests in a row with an average margin of over 30 points. He has been raising record money, getting record votes, having record attendance and acting very calm and classy.

Clinton, OTOH, has been spiraling out of control. Her campaign has fired people and released reports that she spent millions of shiat like donuts and lavish hotel rooms. She spazzed out on camera today.

What is there positive to say about her right now? Why SHOULDN"T obama get nice headlines when he is doing everything right?

I don't really care for a pro-Hillary headline. I just thought someone out there might think it's a little unfair that Pro-Obama-Anti-Hillary headlines keeping getting greenlit. I'm saying this as an outsider. I've been on Fark for a long time and it's been pretty balanced most of the times, I don't know why it's gone so one sided on this whole Obama vs Hillary issue.

As a Democrat, I actually find little difference politically between Hillary and Barack. Both have done well as US Senators. Both have policies and positions I can fully support.

Personally, I find Barack a better Presidential candidate for the party than Hillary. His style, his approach is just stronger than hers.

Nothing against Hillary at all, as she has performed remarkably under very difficult circumstances, i.e. her husband's infidelity, the Republican hysterical witch hunt against her. I sincerely wish her and Bill the best. And I think very highly of her service to our country over the years. But, for 2008, Barack Obama is the best Democratic candidate for President, hands-down.

I don't understand the sensitivity here for Hillary. FARK has always seemed to have been going with the flow. I find the headlines appropriate. Noone's standing up to anti-Bush headlines because of his popularity. Same with Hil. She sucks, is a bad decision for a voter, washed up, yadda yadda. Moreover I feel bad for her supporters. They are the least informed people I've ever met in the meat world.

It's not news. It's not supposed to be balanced. It's FARK.

I hope we can trust that, should Hillary bow out gracefully, we can count on a positive headline instead of something along the lines of "Ding! Dong! The witch is dead!"

And yes, I do know that would be a positive headline, but you know what I mean.

You have to understand that from the other side of the aisle, they see differences between the two. You and I are single issue small government voters (i assume). They're disagreeing on minutia arguments of exactly how big government should be, with the understanding beforehand that it should be huge. It's kind of like McCain and Romney arguing about who's more conservative. It's silly to those of us that look at it and say, "well, neither of you are conservative, what are you fighting over?"

To sum up..... YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR ELEMENT DONNY!
