That was a smart cop, got a win for everybody. He knew the guy wanted a place to sleep, so arrested him for the only thing he could think of, and let the 911 operators go back to doing their jobs.

You might want to try something that won't get you locked up in PMITA prison.

Brick through the cop's windshield would have gotten him 3 hots and a cot as well. That, or if he wasn't the destructive type, just piss on the cop's leg. That would work. Not a good idea to punch a cop though, as it is usually a felony and here in Texas will get you at least a year.

My best friend has been locked up in county for the past 60 days for a DUI. He says it's really not bad at all. It would be paradise for a homeless man, especially during the winter.

That's sad.....

But cops are full service, so if the man wanted to die that day instead of just finding a place to sleep, I'm sure the cop would have helped him under the right conditions, of course.

COPS is great. Nothing like seeing the dregs of society in thier most brilliant moments, without actually having to be directly exposed to them. Best ones are where they catch somebodies crime on camera/in the act and they deny it was them.
