Motorhead, the Ramones, and AC/DC all made careers out of releasing one album a dozen times, just changing the titles. When people like what you're serving, sticking to the recipe isn't necessarily such a bad idea.

I think that people expecting musical growth or progression from Motorhead are missing the point.
I think that if a guy buys the farm ripping ass on a panhead listening to Motorhead on his iPod, he dies a far more worthy death than most of us probably will.

one hit wonders, motorhead are not! many would argue that ace of spades is their worst song.

I've seen Motorhead live 3 times. Each time I've been deaf for days after. It's hard to appreciate how loud they are until you witness it for yourself.

Nothing can touch Shane McGowan's ugliness.

Of course, I mean MacGowan.

I love how they prop the guitars up against the speakers at the end for that barrage of feedback.

He may be slightly-less than average Joe (Ok ... he is not handsome) ...

Overkill is the song they close their set with. The deliberate feedback at the end of the song sears through you. Awesome.
