It's amazing how "conservatives" magically reanimate bin Laden prior to elections. Every other time of the year he's been dead since '02 and shouldn't be discussed.

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

No worries. All is well!

Koggie [TotalFark] 2008-02-22 03:43:06 PM
The desperation is strong in this one.

Etchy333 [TotalFark] 2008-02-22 03:51:43 PM
Osama/Usama wants whoever will keep America in the Middle East the longest, in an occupational military capacity.

I wonder if there has been any candidate which thinks we should stay there a really long time, like, oh I don't know, 10,000 years?

Laoise 2008-02-22 03:57:45 PM
FTA:More people think the terrorist leader wants Obama to win (30 percent) than think he wants Clinton (22 percent) or McCain (10 percent). Another 18 percent says it doesn't matter to bin Laden and 20 percent are unsure

I'm not comfortable with the third-person conjecture inherent in these numbers. I think we should dispatch the entire FOX news team to the Middle East in order to find and poll the terrorist leaders directly. They can easily locate them by asking anyone they meet if they are a terrorist, then request to be taken to their leader.

brap [TotalFark] 2008-02-22 04:07:05 PM
Oh for fecks sake.

The local Fox NY affiliate has taken to running a "Cool or UnCool" poll every morning. Here's how the important issues are being called by the mongoloid set of Big Apple tastemakers.

Believing in ghosts... Cool or unCool?
Cool: 64%
unCool: 36%

Buying Britney's album... Cool or unCool?
Cool: 55%
unCool: 45%

Adults wearing costumes... Cool or unCool?
Cool: 86%
unCool: 14%

Eating squirrels... Cool or unCool?
Cool: 24%
unCool: 76%

Farking Fox News. What the hell's their problem?

Laoise: More people think the terrorist leader wants Obama to win (30 percent) than think he wants Clinton (22 percent) or McCain (10 percent). Another 18 percent says it doesn't matter to bin Laden and 20 percent are unsure

You figure they could at least try to hide their bias.

That's terrifying, it really shows how far the squirrels have succeeded in dumbing us down before they launch their all-out invasion :(

madmann [TotalFark] 2008-02-22 04:10:51 PM
Doing polling now on what people's guesses at other people's opinions are now? Wow.

I guess next week they'll ask who would have won the Best Actor Oscar if there had been better movies made last year.

klymen [TotalFark] 2008-02-22 04:12:23 PM
Osama doesn't care, unless Ron Paul gets elected. Then he has to worry.

I have my doubts that bin Laden really wants a US president willing to attack Al Qaeda along the Afghanistan/Pakistan border. He'd probably prefer we continue to keep our anti-terrorism efforts on a back burner while we commit our forces to nation building in a country that doesn't want us there.

Confabulat [TotalFark] 2008-02-22 04:22:19 PM
Oh Fox News. About time you remember who Osama Bin Laden is. You so conveniently forgot him about years while drumming up your Iraq war chants.

which is why Osama would want McCain

It's Fox News, what else do you expect...I remember the big fuss over the bin Laden tape prior to the last election, and how people on the right said that it meant that Osama wanted Kerry to win. It was so stupid an argument, not because Osama wanted one guy to win over the other, but because in making the argument people actually acted as if the dumb fark had the power to change our electoral system. I mean, why make it hard for him to win, when in the name of partisanship we could hand him a victory in a silver platter by letting him believe that his beliefs matters to any of us. It still gets me disgusted even today.

As long as Keira Knightley gets assigned to my nut mines, I support that idea.

Of course, now it's those on the left who are trying to use the same dumb fark argument against conservatives. Yeah, criticize their mistakes and stupidity, only to repeat it when your guy/party is on top. Good going.

Etchy333: Osama/Usama wants whoever will keep America in the Middle East the longest, in an occupational military capacity.

No, no, no. Osama wants who ever will give the American people the most freedom, after all, that is what he hates. Am I right?

DaSwankOne 2008-02-22 04:25:48 PM
Honestly think about this. Obama is winning in a poll where 30% of the people think he is a radical Muslim that will bring more terror. This does not boad well for McCain if people actually start paying attention.

DaSwankOne 2008-02-22 04:27:21 PM
Biff_Steel: No, no, no. Osama wants who ever will give the American people the most freedom, after all, that is what he hates. Am I right?

Actually Osama wants the one with the most lax boarder security because we all know the terrorist were here illegally.

Who is Usama Rooting For?

Who does Usama bin Laden want to be the next president? More people think the terrorist leader wants Obama to win (30 percent) than think he wants Clinton (22 percent) or McCain (10 percent). Another 18 percent says it doesn't matter to bin Laden and 20 percent are unsure.

You are right. Nothing to see here, citizen, just ignore them.

I bet Jesus would vote for Obama because they are both black.

If there's anything these last few weeks on here have shown, it's that it's quite as vapid to be a die hard democrat as it is to be a die hard conservative. Argue the same way, just on different sides.

That being said, I'd venture to say that Osama Bin Laden hates all three of the candidates equally and it really won't make that big a difference.

Aarontology [TotalFark] 2008-02-22 04:29:15 PM

So lets see, 20% don't know and 15% don't think it matters.

So that means about 65% are retards for even giving the question an honest try?

Fart_Machine 2008-02-22 04:31:45 PM
The real question is who does Osama think will win the next American Idol?

zerkalo 2008-02-22 04:35:58 PM

Mr_Fabulous 2008-02-22 04:36:16 PM
Wow. This is really, really farking god-awful. Even for Fox News, this is...distressingly bad shiat.

If I hadn't seen it myself, I wouldn't have believed it.

barcaboy 2008-02-22 04:37:44 PM
Only 10% of their respondents have a brain then.

Clearly a McCain administration would be preferable for OBL.

depmode98 2008-02-22 04:39:21 PM
That's funny. McCain said it was naive to attack bin ladin if that means bombing pakistan. The guy is a shameless dickhead who will say anything just to get a dig at his opponent, even if that means going against his whole mystique of being the strongest on terrorism.

Theaetetus 2008-02-22 04:39:40 PM

But whose administration would be preferable to ODB?

/probably McCain's... He loves the brown sugar...

capnmonkey: So that means about 65% are retards for even giving the question an honest try?

seems low for Fox News readers/viewers

dogfood 2008-02-22 04:41:39 PM
This mild compared to what they say on Special Report with Brit Hume or Hannity and Colmes or O'rly factor.

Anybody who can stand to watch that crap for more than five minutes is going to vote Republican anyway so what does it matter.

It just doesn't matter!
It just doesn't matter!
It just doesn't matter!
It just doesn't matter!

depmode98 2008-02-22 04:42:21 PM
it was almost comical to watch the republicans scramble when they quickly realized that they were essentially saying obama was stronger on terrorism then they were by bombing pakistan, so they had to quickly change the narrative that talking about your intention to bomb somebody isn't presidential and shows his inexperience.

"bomb bomb bomb bomb iran."

Edsel 2008-02-22 04:42:56 PM
Of he'd rather have McCain. The other two might actually start hunting him down again.

/McCain, the next best thing

Shaggy_C 2008-02-22 04:48:44 PM
In addition, more voters say they would feel "enthusiastic" if Obama wins the presidency (22 percent) than would feel that way if Clinton (18 percent) or McCain wins (9 percent).

9% would be enthusiastic about McCain...Excellent muahahahah

Leishu [TotalFark] 2008-02-22 04:49:05 PM
... the hell?

Is Fox news contracting their copy-editing out to sixth graders, now, because the last time I saw that many typographical errors in something so short, it was a sixth grader.

I like how Fox News went with the rarely used "Usama" to make it clear that it wasn't another Obama/Osama "mix-up".
