That is so unfair. Bush was a C Student. He can read on the level of a Star Wars novel. Anything more than of Mice and Men and he might have some problems.

Kind of like his presidency.

You do realize those are for two different Bush presidents right?

On a real note, he has had laws passed that means many of his papers will NEVER see the light of day. And that is what presidential libraries are for, so in years to come scholars and historians have something to keep them occupied.

You=Fail for being hoodwinked, tricked, and obfuscated by obvious "retards" at the helm of our government. Yeah, they're all stupid, clueless, bumbling idiots. What does that, then, make us?

True, but couldn't future presidents just use his precedents (signing statements, warrantless wiretaps, etc.) to ignore these laws Bush passed and release the papers anyway? If nothing else they could release them and then press for retroactive immunity for those who released the papers.

That is the only Presidential library I've ever visited, largely due to timing and proximity. Rosy glow effect in full f'n force! Are they all like that?

CourtroomWolf 2008-02-22 05:14:56 PM
A tour of the library:

Here's the famous "Mission Accomplished" banner. And in this room is an archive of what has been aired on Fox News. This room houses all the important documents the president and vice presidents have signed or written...

(isn't that a safe?)

..Yes. And it's armed to explode if anyone attempts to open it -- anyone who tries is obviously a terrorist. And this is the room showcasing the accomplishments of the EPA...

(are those urinals on the wall?)

...yes, and we got special permission to allow smoking in this room.

I heard about this on CNN radio on the way home today. Right before they went to commercial, they go:

"Coming up - find out who's going to host George W. Bush's presidential library"....

And my immediate thought was:
