Award-winning humorist, television personality and film actor Andy Borowitz....

I need to go ahead and become a right wing humorist. Apparatly you don't have to write well or be funny.

This just in: Obama wins talentless hack award, which was expected to go to Andy Borowitz.

Yes, none of them are very good but your audience is forced to listen to you and give you praise through Republican loyalty.

It's like Dennis Miller when he is on a right wing show. No one understands his jokes but realize they supposed to think they are funny so you hear uncomfortable applause and laughter because the audience isn't sure.

The chief export of Barack Obama is Hope.
Barack Obama can lead a horse to water AND make it drink.
Barack Obama invented Kentucky Fried Chicken's famous secret recipe, with eleven herbs and spices. But nobody ever mentions the twelfth ingredient: Hope.

I wouldn't classify Andy as a right wing humorist... whatever his political affiliation may be, he hits both sides of the aisle in his fake news satire.

After reading this one, I would also take umbrage with your use of the word "humorist". Definitely not one of his better columns.

Every other FARK thread has better, more plentiful and harder-hitting jokes written by amateurs for their own amusement. The author here ought to take some goddamn notes.

Obama Country!

I got in my truck
turned on the AM radio
they was talkin bout Bush
I said He's got to go!

We need some change
And my speeches almost rhyme
My name's Obama
And it's Election time!

Now I'm runnin around
tryin to win over a nation
I got billary on my tail
Got to win me a nomination

We need some change
And my speeches almost rhyme
My name's Obama
And it's Election time!

Some folks say a good brother can't win
Or that my supporters think I'm a messiah
I wish they'd make up their minds
Am I saint or a dirty liar

We need some change
And my speeches almost rhyme
My name's Obama
And it's Election time!

Truth is I'm just a man
tryin to be the president of the USA
Cuz we need some change
And any darn fool would be better than Bush anyway!

We need some change
And my speeches almost rhyme
My name's Obama
And it's Election time!

"Right-wing humorist" reminds me of "Christian stand-up comedian" for some reason. I'm sure there's some funny ones out there, but the very concept is a head-tilter.

heh...heh...heh...kinda funny...at least original...OH WAIT, THIS COULD BE CONSIDERED "ANTI-LIBERAL"!!!! DEAR LORD!!!!

Obama's last CD was Awesome!

The best two tracks were, "Echoes from the outhouse", and "Once the White house goes black, you'll never look back".

Another Ray Charles, I'll tell you.

Keep it up Bam Bam.

Everyone seems to hate this article. My thoughts towards Obama aside, I think this whole Obamania is hilarious, and same goes for the article. Maybe I'm foolish though...

or ever be heard of in the "popular" (y'know, actually heard of the guy), popular culture.

I'm getting a kick out of this replies to the satire piece by Borowitz, because its what I expected to hear from Obama supporters. Geez, the piece is meant to be a joke and you guys go ape over it...

terriblist 2008-02-22 04:11:58 PM
Borowitz sucks, on that we can all agree. His "Borowitz Report" reads like a college student who contributes a horrible article to the Onion's slushpile every week.

Although, he was somehow involved in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which was at times mildly amusing. It's at least provided a lot of YTMND fodder.

HumbleGenius 2008-02-22 04:42:37 PM
