I don't watch Idol, but I could swear I recognize the kid from flipping through channels.

Was he the one who did "She's Not There?" I know somebody last year did one of the Zombies songs - that was surprising enough to hold my attention for two minutes.

That guy has a great voice but more important he is so down to earth with a terrific sense of humor. Very very likable. I'm glad for him.

He was my favorite contestant. I was thrilled he didn't win, because he has a better shot at making the kind of music he wants and not that overly produced b.s. that most of the Idol contestants make.

Me too. It's funny how it's not that uncommon to see an ugly guy with a nice looking woman, but you don't often see a good looking guy with an ugly woman.
