I'd love to see King Diamond's Abigail or Them turned into films.
Both are good horror stories.

It was easily one of the worst films I've seen in the last few months. I realized going in that they were going to be a bit literal with some of the songs, but it was just plain terrible. Literally carrying the Statue of Liberty into Vietnam? Are you kidding?

This could easily be the bottom of all top 10 list. Except for
Rush, of course.

BTW, the music of They Might Be Giants would make a great movie.

Been done, sorta, about 13 years ago. I remember it from way back in the day, and after seeing your post, I had to look it up and make sure it wasn't just my memory playing tricks on me.

With that out of the way, why hitch together disparate songs ie The Ramones, (which, seriously, WTF?) for a story when Coheed and Cambria has a nearly-incomprehensible story already made? lol... It makes for a pretty good comic, but it's just an angrier Star Wars with a harder soundtrack.

No, the movie was crap. They took an easy sale, Beatles music, and made a pile of dog shiat out of it.

I'd rather have a 2112 movie. Or a Cygnus X-1/Hemispheres movie. I like the long epic Rush songs.

I also think Thick As A Brick is awesome. Judge my tastes as you will.

I haven't seen the film yet, but it's on my Netflix queue.

You know those kids who rave endlessly about the Mars Volta? Rush are like, an old man's version.

1) Any King Diamond album could be adapted into a movie.
2) Def Leppard's Hysteria would be the perfect choice if you wanted to see an epic movie involving strippers.
3) Personally I'd want to see a movie based on Slayer's Reign In Blood, or possibly Seasons In The Abyss.

Say what you will, but despite the overplaying, I think American Idiot by Green Day would be great for this. Great punk-rock opera.
Last I heard (2 years ago) they were thinking up a screen play for the album.

I think one of Mars Volta's albums may make a nice, trippy movie, something to toke up to.

I think you could make a kick-ass fantasy film using the music of King Crimson, The Alan Parsons Project or David Bowie.
