I take offense to that I spent years playing bass in some of the midwests most respected crap-rock bands. In fact I am known for pioneering an era of the heavy-handed deep down and funky bass style that is know known as "The White Stripes Sound."

The question is, who owns the copyright on the song? THAT is the entity who has the power to give permission to use the song like this.

And Boston is pretty much "Tom Scholz and his current friends." Claiming to be a former member is like claiming to be a former husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor.

You can make your own fretless with a flat fingerboard by removing the frets, filling them in with putty, sanding and shellacking.
