So there is a one-in-a-billion chance?

Because that would be more likely than I think.

Who cares anyway? This is just the fight to see which of them gets to be President and which gets to be Vice President.

He's probably campaigning heavily in Austin, otherwise known as little California.

All this talk about how Hillary can still pull off the nomination by winning Ohio or Texas is BS. Obama already has a delegate lead, even if he loses Texas AND Ohio, if the loss is narrow enough he and Billary will get the same or a similar amount of delegates.

All Hillary needs to do is keep it respectably close. She doesn't care about you or her party, and if it's close, she'll likely keep enough Supers to illustrate her love of democracy.

I would be AMAZED if Obama asked Clinton to be his Veep. Obama has to know that having her as veep would lose him way too many votes come November.

The stink of internet tough guy fear can be smelled all around you. Guess what? You were wrong. You were wrong to back Bush, you were wrong to smugly predict Clinton would win, you WERE. FARKING. WRONG.

it would be no more surprising than obama winning in the utah democratic primary.

there are red states where even the democrats hate the clintons.

Why the condescension? This is a democratic primary and Austin has a proportionally high amount of Democrats compared to other Texan cities. It's extremely obvious that both Obama and Clinton are going to campaign heavily there.

You keep posting in politics threads, but you don't seem to be too bright.

Neither one will be the others VP, Hillary's first choice Harold Ford, Jr If Hillary does not get the nomination she will kick Harry Reid in the balls & became Senate Majority Leader

I have him on my ignore list, but unfortunately people seem to feel the need to respond to him so I often see his moronic comments quoted. Has he ever posted anything more than a one or two line comment only tangently related to the topic at hand?

Why do all the Hillary-hating Republicans always try to tell us Democrats how our own party works? I'm sick of hearing "Hillary's going to win your nomination" over and over again. Stop prognosticating our party's nomination process and stick to the things that really get you hot - guns and gays.

Just look at it this way - it's just one more thing for them to be totally wrong about.

It's akin to shotgun pointing out to driver that bus he's about to hit.

They're both in the car together. Shotgun would be stupid to let driver kill them both.

No, actually, it's not like that at all. It's more like a civilian calling a Marine a soldier.

Hm. Not to belabor the point, but your analogy would make it seem as though you feel "we're all in this together." I have to admit, that is certainly NOT the message I get from all this blather I'm complaining about.

TheConvincingSavant: He's probably campaigning heavily in Austin, otherwise known as little California.

He's already campaigned heavily in Austin. He's got that liberal bastion in his pocket at this point. Now he has to concentrate on Houston and Dallas and San Antonio and El Paso etc.

Hillary no longer has a double digit lead.

Some of the her early super delegates are reconsidering their too quick support of her and agreeing to wait until the convention or just coming out for Obama.

Guess they don't want to be on the wrong side of history or sommat. ie. The Past as opposed to the future that Obama represents.

I never understood why people assume Texas is gonna be a win for Hillary. Sure there is a lot of latinos down there, but there's also a lot of black folks and white folks too. Obama would probably win all the big cities (that matter, El Paso doesn't count), and I'm sure country folk ain't the biggest fans of hilldog. Ohio is another story, but as someone who was born and raised in Tejas, I gotta say that this race will probably be extremely close, and that just means a split in delegates, meaning Obama will still be ahead.

It's not so much the criminals that I fear, it's armed Texas republicans. Some would rather shoot you than hear an opposing viewpoint.

Obama won the Hispanic vote in Virginia and Maryland by 10 points. He also won the Hispanic vote in Illinois, Connecticut, and Iowa.

The idea that the Hispanic vote is an automatic lock for Hillary is a myth. I think it stems from early contests such as Nevada, where I suspect many Hispanics voted for Clinton based on name recognition alone, rather than any extra-special attachment to her.

The most recent contests, such as VA and MD, show the Hispanic vote shifting over to Obama in a big way. And the most recent polls I've seen show the Hispanic vote in Texas to be about even.

The Hillary team has gone out of their way to exploit discord between the black and latin communities and marshaled votes with this.

Racism was a great tool for the GOP, sick that Hillary is using the same crap.
