Obviously, such a performer can't have the meaninglessness bar tours on his tab! That might ruin his arena cred!

The article is kind of misleading. The shows were supposed to be kind of a college tour, but all the tickets were ending up in the hands of scalpers and "Oh my god I've seen Kenny 20 times this year" stalkers. The college students that were supposed to be the main audience sometimes couldn't get into shows being held on their own friggin campuses. Chesney ended up canceling at least one show because the college allowed outsiders to buy up tickets before even offering them to their own students.

The "bi" part is a little off, considering the author has openly stated they are gay.

Hey Kenny, it just proves you have a leak somewhere. Better than Ezra has done this concept for at least 15 years. So have a lot of other bands. They come to Baton Rouge and play at a bar. You must not be greasing the right palms....
