They really just want to torture Muslims in the name of Jebus. Nobody expects the American Inquisition. Well, nobody used to.

good conservative, godly, Christian pro-life" GOP candidate

Yeeeahh...that's Giuliani to a T.

/wtf?

That may very well be the WORST idea I have ever heard.

That would be awesome! For Obama.

They might be hoping that if McCain takes an assbeating in November, they can step in and say "See? This is what you get for ignoring us!" and assert even more control of the party.

If that's the case, enjoy being the minority party for years to come, boys.

Jaboobinator [TotalFark] 2008-02-14 11:59:49 AM
Giuliani is the least "conservative Christian" of the bunch. WTF?

Cyberluddite [TotalFark] 2008-02-14 12:00:46 PM
Does this fundie realize that Rudy eats the Death Cookie, so he obviously isn't a real Christian?

Jaboobinator: Giuliani is the least "conservative Christian" of the bunch. WTF?

"Conservative Christian" = kill Muslims so Israel remains in the hands of the Hebrews so that the Rapture can take place as per Revelations (or something).

Oh please, oh please, oh please make this happen.

The humor and hulimiation alone would be worth me throwing $20 their way.

Wow subby, didn't read your own article, did you?

Evangelicals are NOT running Giuliani. It's the same people who wanted to run a third party candidate against him back when he was the front runner, who now want to do it to McCain.

MEGA-FAIL

AZtoJapan [TotalFark] 2008-02-14 01:12:21 PM
The article I am reading says they would consider Huckabee.

I really hope someone gets up enough cash to run a third party candidate to split the conservative vote.

Have to say it sounds like it. Ron Paul is the most conservative candidate they have, quite pro-life. Oh he just is pro-life in that he doesn't like bombing other countries if we don't need to.

Hey, hurry up and get me that tasty apocalypse goodness mr president

You don't understand. 9/11 changed everything.

Boojum2k 2008-02-14 03:36:27 PM
The same conservative Christian activist who called a meeting last fall to discuss backing a third-party candidate to counter a possible Rudy Giuliani candidacy is revisiting the idea as Sen. John McCain closes in on the Republican presidential nomination.

Bob Fischer, a South Dakota businessman and anti-abortion activist, said Wednesday that while he could back the Arizona senator over either Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Obama, he made it clear that he and others in the evangelical movement are not content with those choices.

Here, now no one has to click the linky to determine the headline and the article are 180 degrees apart.

WorldCitizen [TotalFark] 2008-02-14 03:40:07 PM
So, evangelicals want to run a pro-choice, pro-gay rights candidate over McCain who is pro-life and anti-gay rights?

I mean, I know that this group of people is by definition not a rational and logical group of people, but seriously?

WorldCitizen [TotalFark] 2008-02-14 03:41:49 PM
Oh, headline and article do not match. OK, I thought that was even a bit far out for such a far out group.

The republicans set in motion the weakening/downfall of our economy. They're perfectly happy to let the dems in power while the shiatstorm is in full force. They know the average voter has the memory of a goldfish, and will blame everything on the dems at the media's prompting. I'd be willing to bet that the next president will only serve 1 term, the media machine will make sure republicans are swept back into power for at least 8 more years after that.

Wow, it took you the space of one sentence to go from blaming the congress for something that's not really its fault to biatching about people blaming the congress for things that aren't really its fault. That's some really high hypocrisy/sentence density. Are you perhaps a certain congressman with a wide stance?

quatchi 2008-02-14 04:13:03 PM
He declined to elaborate but held out hope that Mike Huckabee might mount an improbable comeback.

Is Jebus gonna strike McCain&Abel dead while out on the campaign trail and then appear in the form of a talking cloud informing America that everybody's favorite fundo-fascist farkstick aka The Huckster is especially beluffed by God or sommat?

Cos that would be funny.

Man, there is no end to the impossible shiat these Talibaptist shiat-hedZ can will themselves to believe?

Not one candoidate on the right has the wherewithall to run fer dogcatcher much less POTUS.

/Romney and Huckabee oughta be barred from owning dogs fer that matter.

Our elected leaders' wreckless spending and has nothing do to with the state of the economy? I never said there weren't other factors that have contributed to the economic downturn, maybe you could act like an adult and point out where I said that. You should also look up the definitions of words if you're not sure what they mean, because I wasn't remotely hypocritical. And if for some reason you have a homosexual bathroom sex fetish, I'd rather not hear about it.

After reading this 10 times and my brain unable to understand I read the article and realized subby was smoking something. It doesn't say running Guiliani at all in the article.

Actually, many states past anti-predatory lending laws that would of made the house market collapse not nearly as bad but the Bush administration put the kebosh on those laws.

So yes the government DOES affect the economy.

Remember when I said "I never said there weren't other factors that have contributed to the economic downturn". Read all of what is written, it can really help you from looking like an idiot. I'd say thanks for playing, but I'm really not pleased that I have to remind farkers like you to actually read what you respond to in its entirety.

Oh and quatchi since Huckabee is the only one left in the race besides McCain and has shown he can win a few states its not looney to hold out hope for him.

Let McCain pass out on stage at a rally or have a mild heart attack now and Huckabee is the only one with boots still on the ground and an organization in place.

Its why Im pulling for Obama in the primaries. I feel Hillary is more beatable but a mild heart palpatation from McCain in late October and even that unelectable biatch would win.
