Eh, wake me when the rest of Velvet Revolver gets back with Izzy and Axl....

/Really wish VR would've been able to get Sebastian Bach as they originally intended....

Hope their reunion goes well, fingers are crossed for additional tour dates.

Saw them on their final tour, Weiland kicked ass. Kicked a guy out of the concert for flicking him off, had the place going wild, ended the show by taking a female backstage.

Good times.

Purple is one of most underrated albums of the '90s.

I haven't seen STP since the Tiny Music tour. That was after his his testicles reascended and his voice reverted to prepubescent octaves.

They keep saying "first time in 7 years". That would be Feb 2001, right? I believe I saw STP in concert in either the spring or fall of '02, and it wasn't the farewell show. '5 years' more like it.

I was thinking 7 years was way too long as well. I've seen them a few times, and the last one was in Tampa sometime near the summer of 2002.

Just let Shinedown and Sevendust play their sets and get out of there, then I'm with you..... Add Disturbed to that list as well -saw them at the Rolling Rock Town Fair a couple of years ago with Velvet Revolver - VR was great but Disturbed blew everyone away - Dave Draiman got in a fistfight with a couple of the punks in Finch as Finch was coming offstage. Staind was there and was god-awful - holy shiat they were boring. Saw 11 drunks on a golf cart run over a drunk to slow to get out of the way - good times....

Dave Draiman is the most awkward looking frontman I have ever seen on stage. He is trying so hard to look badass, and doesn't really know what to do with his body.

I saw Papa Roach as part of a festival, and was really surprised. Jacoby, or whatever name he goes by now was crazy on stage. Really got the crowd pumped.

Serj Tankian is awesome.

STP, in the mid-to-late '90's were close to untouchable. Dean and Scott's acoustic version of "Plush" still owns.

He's still a total nutjob, imho.

I still like this joke, "Oh, the guys in GnR are gonna form a band with a guy who's got his shiat together even less than Axl?"

The 1st VR disc was decent. 2nd? Boring -- what I heard of it.

Their remakes of Surrender and Negative Creep are still their best songs, though.
