Obama was the establishment nominee.

It doesn't matter, it was a caucus.

Bill also won. Twice. Previous to this year.

There should have been a greenlit Grammy thread. I wanted to rail about how incredibly awesome / terrible / bizarre the various performances were.

/Also how much I hate that farking Prima Donna Kanye West.

This is Obama's second Grammy, after Dreams from My Father in 2006.

And Hillary Rodham Clinton took home a Grammy in 1996 for her audio version of the book, It Takes A Village

Narrowly beating out George Bush's effort that year "It takes a Village Idiot" subtitled 'To screw up an entire country'

Grammy's blew massive chunkage this year. The Beatles thing was prolly the best part. Amy Crackhouse is not here to pick up her reward? Dang! Was kinda hoping Whitney Houston was gonna pick it up on her behalf. I'm cruel like that.

Barack is winning everything right now, aint he? If I were Barack I would go out and buy a shiatload of lottery tickets or sommat. Anybody catch 60 minutes tonight? The first part was with Barack on Super Tuesday talking about his campaign. The second part was with Hillary and Cutie Couric mostly talking about Barack's campaign. Quatchi is LOL!

/Why doesn't Andy Rooney just retire fer Fark's sake?!

Well, you know that Jesse Jackson won a Grammy in '84.

Pleased as I am for this, I was more excited for Amy Winehouse. Five trophies and an amazing live performance.

Say what you will about her drug problems... the woman has considerable talent.

I say this every year: handing out Grammys for audio books is pure BS

Our country has applied political, economic, and even military pressure throughout Venezuela's history, to get the assets and oil concessions that were recently nationalized. On top of that, US interests interacted with grossly corrupt, undemocratic regimes to get those assets. How do you call it, when these leaders and "businessmen" essentially stole from their fellow citizens?

The problem is -- with such a shaky history and provenance surrounding these former U.S. assets -- it's hard to say they were legitimately "owned," in the first place.

oops. I'm new, here.

Hillary to send stern letter to Grammy Committee that this upset Chelsea.

And you thought the Oscar for best documentary was a left-wing circle jerk. The best spoken word grammy might as well be renamed "my favorite democrat" The nomination list is like the keynote agenda at the Democratic agenda this year.
