Like people who drink beer really care about vitamins.

That's a really good idea. If you look at some of the ancient beer recipes from around the world you'll notice they tended to be rich in micro-nutrients and calorie rich..... liquid bread for the masses.

A full beer, plus roused yeast, has plenty of vitamins!

You have to keep your strength up to keep the LBFM`s happy.

I shall have to peruse my ancient Sumerian brewers handbook.

He means well, but constant alcohol intake will inhibit the body's ability to make use of the vitamins.

Perhaps moderate drinkers will benefit.

/20 litres of beer a year??

i think there is a difference between drinking as a casual part of your life and drinking to get drunk.

don't have to drink much to walk around with a light buzz.

"...he repeatedly had to overcome inconsistent results until he thought of standardizing the content of the sugar in his beer."

Wow, standardizing, what a concept. Betty Crocker figured that out LONG ago. It's called a recipe.

"His gold medal was for an 'effervescing vaginal insert with guava leaf extract.'"

And he would like to say, you are welcome, ladies...

Combine that with the vitamin beer and we really do have a modern-day Thomas Edison here.

Seconded.
That's like 7 gallons of beer a year
8 - 16ozers to the gallon...

Hell, I know some people that would use up their 20 literes in a couple of weekends only drinking Saturday and Sunday.

Send a couple of Scots and Irishmen over there and we'd drink your country dry in a month!

In 2003, he was granted P1 million by President Macapagal-Arroyo after he won a gold, a silver, and three bronze medal awards at the first Seoul International Invention Fair in Korea. His gold medal was for an "effervescing vaginal insert with guava leaf extract."

I'm impressed. That's $25,000 US. But what exactally is the purpose of said vaginal insert?

Oh yeah, well I know some people that would use up their 20 liters in one weekend, only drinking on Thursday night, because that's when their weekend starts...because they're HARDCORE!

I was going to invent beer-laced vitamins, but it took like thirty thousand of them to get you wasted, then made your pee smell funny.

Thats 20 L / year for every Filipino 15 years and older... :)

Just a side note - they are only talking about beer... and for the folks I know well... beer was usually for the weekdays... or a 'starter'... weekends were spent with bottles of Tanduay ( Rum )...

Tuba and lambanog are big too... seen that being drank by the jug more than once...

Malang estimates the selling price of a 320-ml Vitamin Beer (minus the bottle) to be only P3. Including the bottle (or aluminum can) and labels, the price will go up to around P10.

So will this be available for purchase in a little plastic baggie at the sari-sari?

"MANILA, Philippines -- Invention is 5 percent inspiration and 95 percent perspiration, Thomas Alva Edison, one of the world's greatest inventors, said."

This quote has absolutely nothing to do with TFA. Lame, lazy reporting.

But if the VitaBeer helps prevent hangovers, sign me up.

SuburbanCowboy 2008-02-10 07:22:18 PM
You can take vitamins all day, but without the proper vehicle, your body will not absorb the vitamins at all.
