You know what the farmer is probably smart for not slaughtering the big bunny, considering that if the rabbit isn't fixed he can stud it out to other German giant breeders.

eqtworld: Rabbits eat their own crap.

They have to. Their food isn't properly absorbed by their digestive tracts, but is instead fermented and broken down in an organ near the end of it. To gain the now-available nutrients, they have to eat the poop, or they'll eventually die of malnutrition.
