I pray that you die a slow, excruciatingly painful death for reminding me this "song" exists, submitter.

I think Missy Elliot coined the term, didn't she? At least, it was in hip-hop and rap circles before this song polluted the airwaves.

Trace Adkins actually has some decent songs but this particular atrocity needs to be thrown into a pit of unholy flame and it's title never again mentioned by kings and commoners alike.

That being said, I have a message for aspiring musicians with zero creative talent.

Move to Nashville. Seriously, some of the stuff that comes out of popular country music is so vapid of real content that it makes Avril Lavigne look "deep".

I don't mind it... it goes along with everything else they've stuck in country music. My cousin & her bridesmaids did the dance at her wedding, well, they tried to anyway. I'd also like to note that this is the "remix", and the original is marginally better.

Written by this guy (pops).

I don't know if I feel better that it is supposed to be funny, written in a drunken bar conversation, or merely sad for the state of music here in Nashville.

I've heard this song about six or seven times and have NEVER been able to listen to the whole thing; even hearing the writer talk about it couldnt get me thru more than half a verse.

The crap from Nashville that gets passed off as music it appalling.

Why the hell does crap like this get greenlit? Does it have to do with the fact that everyone will come in and biatch about it? If that's the goal, then what is stopping Fark from turning completely to shiate?

He does have some good songs and a great voice that could sing some great classic sounding country songs, but it's tripe like this that make me wonder what the hell he's doing. And it really makes me wonder who listens to, requests and buys this crap. Whoever you are, stop doing this. You'll just encourage more of it.

This song has prompted endless questions from my 60 year old co-worker as to "What the fark is a 'Badonkadonk'?!" Explanations never work. It's hilarious though.

/me and my boss convinced her that "Walk The Line" was about Cash doing blow
//so gullible.

What's "Celebrity Apprentice"?

Wareq 2008-02-10 10:10:27 PM
Has anybody else ever had "Mah Nah Mah Nah" stuck in their head with "badonkadonk" taking the place of the title line?

cc_rider 2008-02-11 12:13:39 AM
This shiat is so bad it makes Billy Ray Cyrus look good by comparison.

Anybody who had anything to do with writing, performing, producing or submitting this song should be kicked in their badonkadonk.

This was my niece's favorite song when she was like 3 or
4, except the part about 'slapping your grandma': she never
liked to say that because she would never slap Grandma.

No one does. I was at a presentation by some of the major record companies before this came out, and they were all salivating over how huge it was going to be.

Fast forward a couple of years, and this thread here on Fark is the first time I've heard of it since - it didn't even make it into the stores here, let alone onto the radio/tv.

Just so you know, the world's quite a bit bigger than New Zealand. Yep, they're buying this garbage in droves here.
