After reading a pre-sentencing report and hearing testimony in the case,state District Judge Joan Campbell sentenced Hinojosa, 31, to prison with a $1 fine.

At least it didn't break his pocket book...

Except for the delivery part and the fact it was cocaine and not marijuana, this reminds me of a scene in Super Troopers.

I love the $1 fine required by law, but 45 years in prison. If the fine was required by law, I would try to find out how much it costs to process the fine and then make the fine 1 cent above the cost of processing the fine if I were in charge of sentencing.

/Yes that's being a douche, but maybe it would get the point across.

Shame that this guy was busted... and for the coke being confiscated again. The only good thing is that it was a cop, unfortunatly a bad one.


I hate cops... 99% of them... I havent met one that I liked.
