That really pisses me off.

Mr Fredcat and I emigrated here but our son (our only child) had to stay in England because he was just 3 months too old to emigrate with us on our family ticket - after being told that he could emigrate and that he could join us quickly in the US.

All three of us has waited 22 years to be allowed to emigrate.

Our son was 9 months old when we applied and he's coming up to 30 years old now. Farkin' INS admitted that it was their error that prevented him from emigrating with us, but they don't give a damn.

Don't know why I'm even posting this. It won't help me feel be better.

Farkin' Amy farkin' Winehouse farkin' visa. Sheesh.

Here's how it works:
Amy: I wanna go to America!
Producer: Well, let me give this large bucket of money to this politician.
Politician: Well, let me call this official at Customs and Immigration...
Official: Well, let me hand you this visa, Missy.

No doubt. If you work for the USCIS, if any of your relatives or loved ones work for the USCIS, if anyone you know works for the USCIS, then fark you.

If it's a work visa on the grounds that she has special ability, then they never should have waited.

The de rigeur "War on Everything" briefly stayed their hand.

Yes, good for her, she's a great singer and always amusing.

As for the smug drug comments, who among us has not spent part of their lives out of control with needles in their arms? Why no one!

It's just a little work visa, don't get your knickers in a bunch comparing it to an emigration. Geez. Glad it's off your chest, however.

Unfortunately, due to the logistics involved and timing complications, Amy will not be traveling to the U.S. to perform at the Grammys in person," the Outside Organization said in a statement.

What's the big deal? Fly straight through to the Grammys., hire some L.A. session cats, play yer one song, collect award/s, etc...

I swear, any less fortunate musician would move heaven and hell to make that gig, "logistics" be damned! Not taking anything away from her talent, but what's with these big acts and their inability to just show up and do their thing? It's not like a Middle East Peace Summit.
