Sometime after high school she apparently blossomed. I remember the jokes about her when Bill was first elected, and of course the comparisons to Al Gore's daughters, who were "teh hawt!". But Chelsea turned out quite nicely.

Uh, I think that was a comment on her connections. Wikipedia claims she was hired fresh out of school with a six figure salary, despite not having an MBA, or even a degree in finance.

I'm not saying she's uneducated - I'm not even saying she's unqualified - but it's still a pretty damn cushy first job.

I think she started first as a consultant of some sort (i.e. "Hey Chelsea, what's your dad's phone number?").

Honestly, if she is stumping for her mom as an 'agent of change for 35 years', then Chelsea didn't learn a thing from either parent. If you have the name to step into a Wall Street job at any time, why not try to do something productive for a few years rather than hang out with B-list celebrities while making a nice, but empty salary?

All this time people have been ragging on Chelsea for being an uglytoid, while I always thought she was a bit of a cutie. This picture has changed my mind.

As for her six-figure job, it's not at all uncommon for first-year associates at McKinsey to make that amount. That doesn't include the signing bonus. While a majority of their new hires are Ivy League MBAs, I think they'd be happy with someone who earned their Master's at Oxford.
