Ironic tag and stupid tag in a dead heat

I'll take ironic and the points.

Part of me feels bad for those self-deceived hard core Bush people, and part of me would like to see them shot into the sun.

Jaboobinator: part of me would like to see them shot into the sun.

You don't want to shoot anything that dense into the sun, it might collapse it.

If we get Hillary or McCain, they'll get their wish.

Every time somebody tries to tell me about their strict interpretation of the original intent of the framers of the Constitution I point out to them that California should have approximately 1000 representatives in the House on account of counting each of the illegal immigrants as 3/5 of a person for the purpose of computing representation.

I fear you may be right. "Meet the new boss..."

Thank God for the 22nd Amendment. I can't even imagine another four years of Bush.

I think they were chanting "Pour more beers".

I know that this administration causes me to drink.

My roommate is convinced that Bush is going to pull some sort of police state action or something, to remain in power. Obvious BS but people chanting "four more years" when Bush is on stage still makes me shiver.

/repubs should have put upharkabee... dude has a sense of humor and doesn't look like a total tard... I mighta voted for him.

"We have had good debates and soon we will have a nominee who will carry a conservative banner into this election and beyond," Bush said.

I'd like to see the quiz that Bush's handlers administered to determine if someone was special enough to be in that audience.

If his "list of accomplishments" has to include taking over a job from a person who was no longer eligible to hold said job, that shows you that he's accomplished jack shiat.

You know I was just thinking that precisely what the country needs is 4 more years of the same mismanagement and looting. Nice to see even the cons agree that McCain's his rightful heir. How much you wanna bet JEB! is selected as veep?

If I had to guess? He's hoping Ron Paul or Ross Perot is going to do a national third-party nomination otherwise it'll be a fringe party/protest vote for a (possibly not even national) candidate with no hope of winning.

Am I right, DIA?

Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons...

Actually I was starting to like Romney. I'm really at a loss right now. I'll go with Paul in the primary and then sulk until November...

(BTW...You're missing the weekly thing up the queue)

They should have been chanting "Four to life"

j_twelve 2008-02-08 02:56:32 PM
"The stakes in November are high. This is an important election. Prosperity and peace are in the balance,"

They booed when Bush said his critics want to expand the size and scope of the federal government.

I have to ask... did I just land in Bizaarro world? This is really, really depressing.

Obama and Huckabee aren't any different from McCain and Hillary, folks.

Obama talks a good game, but he voted for reauthorizing the PATRIOT act and to fund the continuing occupation of Iraq. Huckabee is like John Edwards with an extra layer of Jesus's shiat on his tongue.

I'd like to see some citation, please. As far as I know, illegal immigrants are already counted in the census as 'persons', and therefore count just as much as citizens. See, e.g., this report (pops).

So... where's your cite for illegal immigrants not already counting?

Well, Since we have been told time and time again that he was never "elected" in the first place, that means he is eligible for 2 more terms...

Conservatives are all about strictly using the intentions of the Founding Fathers.

Those extra 10 Amendments - the so-called Bill of "Rights"? Distortionist claptrap.

Yeah, isn't it amazing how strikingly little choice we have? Crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, and farking religious crazy.
