I got to see Zevon twice at First Ave on a solo/acoustic tour he did. Awesome.

This

Has that extra something knowing that he recorded the song knowing he was about to die.

I cried like a sissy when he was on Letterman a few weeks before he passed.

Yup, I usually tear up just a little bit (you know, in a manly way...) hearing him sing this song...

"My shiats farked Up" is a great song by him...especially in retrospect.

/good lord, Avril Lavigne covered this too
//was trying to find a full version of the Zevon one
///almost linked to the Avril one as a sort of rickroll
////didn't want to insult Zevon that way

Nice to know I wasn't the only one. That was a sad night, yet beautiful in a way as well.

Don't know what's with all the WZ love on Fark lately, but I approve whole heartedly.

Talkin' about the man...

/The Alarm did a fantastic live cover of KoHD on an import EP during the Strength era. Only available on vinyl but damned amazing.

My homemade WZ T-Shirt...let me show it to you:

sorry, its my job to curb any unabashed fandom... above is WZ's only good moment, as portrayed in the Tom Cruise movie.

Tommy Shaw? Holy shiat that's wicked!

Yeah Zevon did a great job. he knew he was going to die and he said "fark this I'm making an album"
