And for the record, you wouldn't have been "bothering" me. My policy has always been, if you've got something you need to hash out, then "Night Moves" can wait.

Awesome.

Man... when the Onion is on, they are farking ON!

/World Leaders Gather To Roast Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a masterpiece as well

At first, I had a hard time getting past my Onion-post-9/11-suckage bias, but that ended up being a pretty good article.

They just come less and less, it seems. Whenever I see a funny headline or story, I look at the date and it's 9 times out of 10 from '99 or 2000. Still, they're fighting the good fight, I suppose.

Why do people love the Onion so much? Outside of the witty headlines, what's the point? It's not even decent satire! Why would people waste time reading it? Please explain it's appeal.

Just read that one.

I have faith in The Onion once again. Thanks.

Some people think a good joke should be 800 words longer.

"Our Dumb Century" is perhaps the funniest book I have ever read.

Thanks, Hoopy! That's absolutely right!

Yes, the headline IS the joke - and that's all I really care for. Because then it's followed by a lengthy article that needlessly belabors the point like a bad SNL sketch. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Onion, I get it already! Now make up something else just for the sake of making it up.

Give me the Weekly World News over The Onion any day.

The Onion has never been as good since it left Wisconsin for NYC.

Still the occasional chuckle but that's it. I do enjoy laughing at the dicks that write for the AV Club, though.
