Hey, I'm playing Paschendale during my World War I unit for World History.

/Hey, he missed that one, didn't he?

Just sixteen, a pickup truck, out of money, out of luck.
I've got nowhere to call my own, hit the gas, and here I go.

Iron Maiden taught me that is possible to make a cheese sandwich from two guitars, bass, and drums.

Iron Maiden is the shiat. Lyrically and musically sound and if you don't get pumped listening to Run to the Hills, you don't have a pulse.

put them in the iron maiden....

That's really neat. I think that's a really fun song, and I like it. It comes on our local "New Rock Now commercial free radio" station here in Charlottesville VA once in awhile.

I like to envision a perfect world where John Coltrane and Iron Maiden can exist in peace.

Noone enjoys jazz as much as other jazz musicians.

He forgot to mention when Bruce Dickinson cured his own fever.
With more cowbell.

/Yes, THE Bruce Dickinson
//Okay, okay, I know it's not THAT Bruce Dickinson
///Just started listening to Maiden but love them. "Number of the Beast" is a perfect work-out album.

The logic of this article falls apart when he presents "Quest for Fire" as an awesome song, when it's really the band's first actively BAD song.

No, Prodigal Son was the first actively bad Iron Maiden song, although Quest for Fire does indeed suck.

Did anyone else see the video clip from VH1 that had the cat running to "Run to the Hills"? It had a Quizno's spongemonkey effect to it. Quite funny.

Didn't they become "famous" for covering an Erasure song?

I wrote out the words to "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" for Grade 10 English class.
Miss McRae made photocopies for all of her students and borrowed my Powerslave tape to play for her other classes.

Miss McRae was a very cool teacher. sometimes she even wore leather mini-skirts.

especially if you take a huge bong hit right before the guitar solo! hahahahahahaha yes!

"I would like to think, deep down, that there are fewer bands than there are 'acts'. An 'act' is something you would drive 16 hours through freezing rain and lava flows to get to because you know it's going to be awesome. To be blunt, there's really only a few concerts where you feel like that - a local punk show featuring all the favorites, and Iron Maiden. In fact, Maiden is pretty much the only 'act' left... Even the local kids are just trying to get famous enough to sell out."
~My buddy Chris. A very wise individual.
