I used to wear my pants like that, but I didn't notice until I saw that video.

And yet somehow I managed to successfully escape it. Because I have no clue who the hell you're talking about...

"Some of them try to rhyme but they can't rhyme like this."

Forgive my cynicism, but that lyric only has one rhyme, specifically the actual word rhyme which appears twice and not metered in any way as to suggest a rhyming scheme.

In conclusion:

Ugh...the only thing worse than remembering that piece of shiat is remembering how much everyone I knew seemed to love it - until I pointed out that Snow was Canadian.

You're biatching about the last lyric of the song? What did you do? Skip right to the end of the video just to find something to complain about?

I like that College Humor (new window) pointed out that Kris Kross's website (new window) hasn't been updated in 11 years.

Why keep it around?

ManRay: Which one is the Mac Daddy and which one is the Daddy Mac? I don't remember.

Beavis: Hey Butt-head. Which one's Kris and which one's Kross?
Butt-head: (With vague air of contempt) Kross is the Mac Daddy, and Kris is the Daddy Mac.
Beavis: Oh yeah. So who would win in a fight between the Mac Daddy and the Daddy Mac?
Butt-head: I don't know, but they could both kick Axl's ass.

Sadly, I didn't even watch the video. I know the lyrics all too well having been a Capital FM junkie in my early teens :(

I have this song on my iPod.

(Also have "Come Baby Come" by K7, "Dunkie Butt" by 12 Gauge, "Back 2 The Hotel" by N2Deep, numerous Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince tracks and other such Happy Rap wonderments.)

Kris Kross got me to wear a backwards baseball shirt.... once..... before I was laughed at for the next 10 years or so of my life.

/and it's gonna start again now that I've admitted it.

Ya know, I've always thought the guy in the mailman-style hat was Donnie Walberg (sp?) He and Mark are from Boston yeah?

might I add that Common, a.k.a. Common Sense is HIGHLY overrated. when was the last time you bumped to any Common song (or Talib Kweli, Atmosphere, etc) the way that i'm currently bumping to kris farking kross.

also madlib.

thanks subby. I managed to forget about it until you brought it up. I hate you.

radioman_ 2008-02-04 10:55:43 PM
The scary thing about Kriss Kross is that their clothes are not on backwards. The kids were bred that way for easy access in a secret Catholic monastery staffed by descendants of Gregor Mendel.

tomnardone206 2008-02-05 12:21:41 AM
I still dress as Kriss Kross at Halloween. It is the easiest costume ever. Just put your clothes on backward. You would be surprised how many people still know who you are.

Mickeda mickeda mack daddy!

Whitest Kid i Know 2008-02-05 01:52:27 PM
I remember it used to be so tough to take a piss with your pants on backwards. A lot easier to take a s*** though...

You spelled "wiggity-wiggity-wiggity" wrong.

Unfortunately, I have not forgotten this song since 3 of my friends insist on doing it every time they're hammered at karaoke.

Fortunately, said friends are females with moderate to ample breasticles to make the Jump Jump'ing tolerable.

booger42 2008-02-06 09:36:29 AM
Yeesh....thought of this the other day, (for some ungawdly reason) and that Tevin Campbell kid that Quincy Jones featured on an album from around that time. Then I went and listened to some James Taylor, to forget about those things.
